Taipei Hotels with Breakfast

The Hotel Resonance Taipei is a really stylish hotel. It's very new and in a fantastic location – super easy to get to, just a 2-minute walk left from Exit 3 of Shandao Temple MRT Station. The room layout is well-designed, with a separate shower and bathtub, and a dedicated toilet area. The soundproofing is excellent, and the bedding is very comfortable. A major bonus is the self-service laundry room, which is a lifesaver for washing clothes during a summer trip. The washing machines even come with detergent, and the dryer is powerful, getting clothes dry quickly. Just a heads-up though, the laundry room closes at 10 PM. I noticed when booking that the hotel breakfast was just a simple Starbucks meal, so I didn't opt for the breakfast package. There are plenty of convenience stores, supermarkets, and local breakfast spots nearby, so finding food in the morning was absolutely no problem. All in all, I definitely recommend Hotel Resonance Taipei!

Really solid stay at the DoubleTree Zhongshan. The warm cookie at check-in sounds like a gimmick but after a long flight it actually hits different 😂 Location is the biggest win about 5 mins walk to Zhongshan MRT station, and the area around it is full of cafes and small shops. Ximending and Taipei Main Station are just a couple of stops away, super convenient without being in the middle of the chaos. Room was clean and modern, not the biggest but well laid out, and the bed was really comfortable. Bathroom had a proper walk-in shower with good water pressure. City view from my floor was nice at night. Staff spoke good English and were genuinely helpful asked for restaurant recommendations and got proper local suggestions instead of the usual tourist spots. Breakfast had a good mix of ********* and Western food, the congee and dan bing were my go-to every morning. Only minor gripe is the gym is on the smaller side, but everything else more than made up for it. Would happily stay here again next time in Taipei.

First Impression: The Luxurious Ritual of a European Castle Subtle and Secluded Driveway: As the car turned from the tree-lined Dunhua North Road, it entered a highly private French-style circular driveway, exclusively designed for VIP guests. Museum-Quality Artistic Ambiance: Stepping into the grand and towering lobby, guests are greeted by an aesthetic space adorned with over 1,700 original artworks and exquisite giant crystal chandeliers. Impeccable Welcome Service: The front desk service is attentive and seamless. Upon being seated, guests are immediately presented with a ceremonial special hibiscus welcome tea and hot towels.

Facilities: The hotel facilities are almost identical to those of WHG hotels in Japan. I particularly love the separated wet and dry areas in the bathroom, and the option to take a bath in a tub or use the Japanese-style sitting shower. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: There's not much of a street view, but it's incredibly close to Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station, just a two to three-minute walk away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and a 7-Eleven and FamilyMart directly opposite. For attractions, Huashan 1914 Creative Park is close by. The breakfast is exquisite, offering a variety of Japanese and ********* options, with fresh ingredients. Service: The staff are very polite.

The hotel's interior decor is stunning, with a strong Japanese feel. The rooms are clean and spacious, featuring a private onsen and yukata. Plus, there are complimentary drinks and snacks. If you check in around 3 PM, you can enjoy a tea ceremony performance with free green tea and snacks. Breakfast offers a wide and delicious selection!

As a loyal customer who stays at the Sheraton Taipei every month, I understand that the government's environmental policy means they no longer provide bottled water (though there's a water dispenser in the room that you have to fill yourself) or disposable amenities (no toothbrushes or toothpaste). However, as a consumer, aren't these basic necessities when you're paying for a stay?

The location is very convenient. The best part is the air conditioning – it's on the ceiling so it doesn't blow directly on you, and the controls are flexible. The room is also very spacious. The best thing was that even though check-in was stated as 4:00 PM, we arrived early around 3:00 PM, and without us even asking, the front desk immediately checked us in.

The cleanliness was acceptable and consistent with the hotel’s facility rating. The location was excellent and suited our needs perfectly, as it is located right next to Taipei Main Station and can be reached in less than a 10-minute walk via the underground passage. Breakfast is served on the 6th floor, but there is no lift access, which may be inconvenient for elderly guests or those with mobility issues. However, it should not be a problem for younger guests. Overall, the hotel met our expectations and offered good value for its convenient location.

Spacious room. Service is good. Most of the female receptionists are friendly and helpful. Bfast is good too (hotpot buffet - without meat, rice bowls, unli drinks: coffee, juice, soda). As read in some of the reviews, its kind of difficult to find the assigned room as it has a lot of hallway turns. With big/comfy lobby, with free iced tea and juice. 10 mins walk going to Ximending shopping center. ☺️

We had a wonderful stay at Green World Zhonghua and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei. The hotel's location is excellent. It is directly opposite Ximending, making it easy to explore the shopping streets, restaurants, and local attractions on foot. There is also a 7-Eleven conveniently located downstairs, and the entrance to the MRT underground station is just outside the hotel, making it very convenient to travel around Taipei. The room was comfortable and met all our needs. What impressed us the most was the exceptional service from the hotel staff. Our flight was delayed until midnight, and they kindly helped us extend our room until late evening, which made a huge difference to our travel experience. Their willingness to accommodate our request and their friendly, helpful attitude were truly appreciated. Overall, we had a very pleasant and hassle-free stay. With its unbeatable location, convenient transportation access, and outstanding customer service, Green World Zhonghua is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Taipei. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip.
