"The hardware wasn't great, but the software was. The room I was given was an oddly shaped room with a strangely divided layout. The space was cramped and limited room for movement. The window was small and located at the end of the toilet, far from the bed and door frame, resulting in poor air circulation and a bad smell. The toilet had separate wet and dry areas, but the toilet bowl faced the wall. How could anyone sit in it? How thin do you have to be to sit properly on it? I don't know how it was designed, but I had to sit sideways, which was very uncomfortable every time I went to the bathroom. The toilet paper was also very thin and of poor quality, with only one layer, which tore easily. I ended up using my own. There were no slippers or a kettle. Luckily, I was alone and only stayed one night, so my stay felt like an old guesthouse in a small town in China. The good thing was the location and front desk service. It's a great location, right in the heart of the old town, close to everything on foot. There are tons of restaurants, shops, and egg tart shops right outside, and the Rossio subway station is also very convenient. The front desk 💁 has a very good attitude. There was no fork in the instant noodles I bought, so the front desk lent me a pair of knife and fork🍮. The attitude is very good and responsive."

GGuest UserOn a busy street, it’s not very quiet, but you can wear earplugs. Your experience depends on the other travelers, of course, if they are considerate. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The reason I like this place is because it has a lot of character. It’s a turn-of-the-last century, 1890s palace, with very fancy ceilings, parquet wooden floors, and a marble floor lobby. It’s a real palace, one of many in Portugal! In 1914 it was rented to the Swiss Ambassador of Portugal. Although the place is quite dated now, it still has a lot of class. If you have a little more money, you can rent a small suite, higher up and quieter, also with credit card points (free or almost ). Unfortunately the internet only works in the lobby if you have a mobile phone. It seems to work fine for iPads and computers, strangely enough. It has a kitchen and washer / dryer. The fridge is old-style retro, as well as the deco in the whole hotel / hostel. (small fridge, but it does have a small freezer, too.) The place has a restaurant, which is popular. If you eat a large breakfast you can include it with your rent, it costs about 9€ (I don’t , so the kitchen was fine – modern electric stove top, microwave – no oven!) The top bunk of a three-tiered system is fairly safe, as it has steps, instead of ladder rungs. It has wooden lockers (bring your own lock) and small boxes, hidden in the stairs at every bed level. Not for the faint of heart or those afraid of heights
or those who can’t do stairs. Two flights of stairs up! Shared rooms on first and second floors, kitchen is on the first. No elevator to the shared rooms, unlike the suites.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is not located in the city, but there is a subway station that takes ten minutes' walk to the old city. It is also very convenient because there is no taxi in the city to go to the airport. The breakfast in the hotel is very good, the variety is rich and the quality is good, and the service is particularly good. SANA is a local hotel chain in Portugal, and its quality and service are quite guaranteed. The hotel is located on the flight network where planes land and take off, but the soundproofing in the room is good, which is perfect if you want to watch and take pictures of planes.

NNuannuanIt's been a while, but the memory is still vivid. The room was spacious, and breakfast was excellent – unlimited egg tarts! The capsule coffee was surprisingly good, comparable to freshly ground. Maybe I was just exhausted, but this last stop was pretty good. It started raining heavily as we left, marking the beginning of the rainy season, yet the taxi drivers didn't overcharge, which felt like a perfect ending! I must have a soft spot for Portugal; even after 10 days, I still wanted more. So, I'm happy to express my gratitude to the places I stayed and the people who helped and served me! Wishing you all the best!

AAihechadeyangguangmaoThe location of the hotel is excellent and the facilities are very good. But the service is really bad. First, the friend's room can't be done. Find the service staff to wait for a long time! It is very troublesome to check in.

GGuest UserMy husband and I loved it. I was a little apprehensive because I saw a lot of comments about the area where the apartments are located and I didn't see anything wrong with the ”men on the stairs”. They were just drinking and having fun. They didn't even look at us or intimidate us. And we arrived very late because we went out to enjoy ourselves a bit. The apartment is excellent, super clean, smells impeccable.

SSefy LevyThis hostel is located about 3km walk from the center city, but does have some close by attractions (such as the Jeronimo's Monetary) The room is extremely small, if you seat on the edge of the bed and try to stretch your legs, you'll most likely hit the wall. We had our room replaced, as the first room had zero privacy for the toilet and the second room gave the illusion of privacy (as you can see in photos) We've not seen any of the management, as everything is done thru WhatsApp to contact them and they will respond. Breakfast was OK, it had a bit of choices but there was more cakes and cookies then actual food.
