"We pulled in and got a good price for one night, but unfortunately the experience went downhill from there. We were allocated a site that was too small for our setup. When we raised this, a groundsman advised they had only taken over the park four days ago and weren’t familiar with site sizes. He said he would check for an alternative, but we were left waiting with no follow-up. While waiting, the conditions were extremely unpleasant, with strong winds blowing dust and grit everywhere. It was uncomfortable to the point I couldn’t stay. The amenities were also concerning, with the toilet block keypad smashed and the lock missing. We returned to the office and requested a refund as the site was unsuitable and conditions were poor, but this was refused. Overall, a very disappointing experience. We chose to leave and would not recommend staying here, especially when there are plenty of other caravan park options in Carnarvon."

"We booked this park over 12 months ago. The information we received stated that check in time was 11 am. Upon arrival we were told that checking in time is now 1pm. They have changed companies and this is the new policy. The person on reception was rude and smug. She kept stating you will have received an email about this and would not listen when told we didn’t. She was smirking and said you will have to go into town or just wait. When we went to turn around we noted that the park was practically empty. We could see no reason for not allowing an early check in. We went up the road and booked into the Coral Coast Caravan Park. They were so welcoming and professional. We are still attempting to get a refund from the discovery park but amusingly all correspondence is via email and we still haven’t heard back from them. This park used to be such a nice park. We have stayed here previously but won’t in future. We have also seen during our stay in Carnarvon caravans banked up on the side of the road waiting the one o’clock checkin time. I guess they didn’t get the email either ."

"Don't stay here. Awful customer service. Terrible communication. No mention of kiosk closing time for check in. Arrived in Canarvon after 9hours drive to a shut kisok. No no after hours instructions. Forced to pay another night's accommodation or be stranded in the street. No refund despite the communication downfall falling squarely on them and their processes. Will tell everyone I know not to stay here."

"We stayed in a one-bedroom cabin for one night. The unit was well equipped and had a very nice newly renovated bathroom with shower. In the morning was a coffee truck on site which was very handy. However, I recommend to replace the mattresses of the bunk beds."
