Hotel Casa Don Luis by Faranda Boutique, a Member of Radisson Individuals

It was sort of nice, but weird. I had two rooms, and neither had a normal window. The first room, I had a window looking over the lobby and dining room, which didn't offer daylight or seem very private, so I asked for another room. The second room, I had two portholes, which made it feel like I was on a ship. I could see up and out, but that meant mostly sky but also the rooftop deck, which means anyone there had a view back at me.

The property and rooms are gorgeous, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. My one disappointment is that the main pool is in the middle of the dining room so it’s a bit awkward to go for a swim. There’s a rooftop jacuzzi as well but during the day, I’d like a more shaded/cooler option for swimming. I would stay again though. The bed was very comfy and the room was clean.

There wasn't anything not to like about our stay at Casa Don Luis by Faranda Boutique. There was a full free breakfast bar with pastries and freshly made juices daily with made to order eggs any style, pancakes and waffles. The overall ambiance and service in the hotel was above and beyond. We have already recommended Don Luis to a fellow traveler on our flight home from Colombia, and will contiinue to recommend the hotel to any future Cartagena travelers.

The hotel itself was amazing, close to everything in the heart of Cartagena. the breakfast was very fresh every morning with lots of choices. the staff were very helpful helpful and friendly.

Amazing Stayed! We love the Hotel, the area, the food, but mostly the stuff! They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and confortable. Thank you Kelly, Laura, Wilson, JuanCarlos, Jose, Estevan and everyone there, will be back! ;)

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. It was serene and decorated to perfection. The staff was amazing. I absolutely loved our stay here and would go back in a heart beat. There wasn't anything I didn't like other that our first room was by the dining room but when we requested another room they were very helpful and we were completely satisfied.

I recently stayed at Hotel Casa Don Luis, and it was a fantastic experience overall. The location is unbeatable—within walking distance to everything in the Walled City. The staff, especially Javier, were incredibly nice and helpful. Javier went above and beyond each time we needed assistance. The hotel's restaurant surprised me, especially being from New York City. The Italian food was unexpectedly amazing; I still think about it. However, breakfast was a bit underwhelming—small with just fruits, pastries, and eggs. I'd recommend exploring local breakfast spots nearby. The rooftop pool offers a great view and is a fantastic place to relax. Just a tip: the pool on the first level is near the restaurant and might feel a bit odd, so head upstairs for a better experience. Our room was spacious, with a perfect temperature that provided a comfortable escape from the humid weather outside. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Casa Don Luis. It's a gem in the heart of the Walled City, and I'd definitely consider staying here again in the future.
