"This place is simply wonderful. Though only a few miles from the main road, you feel like you are very far away from everything. The rooms are very beautiful, with huge windows facing the bay. A short walk takes you to the bay where you can watch birds, wander a bit along the marsh, or simply sit and enjoy the quiet. The food in the restaurant was very good and the views from the dining room are as nice as those from the rooms. Breakfast is great--excellent coffee, homemade granola and yoghurt, delicious bread as well as the standard cheese and meats. And lots of fruit and homemade fruit juices that change each day. The staff--Dora and Felipe and Kevin--are very welcoming and answer all questions. During my two weeks in Chile, this was easily--by far--my favourite stay. I have to return to Chiloé in the future for work and I will definitely be staying here!"

"I was lucky enough to have a room overlooking the estuary and spent hours watching the birds and water coming and going. Such a peaceful place to stay. All the hotel staff are friendly and welcoming and breakfasts are generous and tasty. Also recommend the restaurant which has food to match the wonderful views."
