"I had a very pleasant stay. The location is excellent just a short walk from the train station and within easy reach of the city centre and riverside areas. The hostel was clean, well organised, and felt safe throughout my stay. My room was simple but comfortable, with clean bedding and sufficient storage space. The shared bathrooms were well maintained and regularly cleaned. The staff were friendly, professional, and happy to help with directions and local tips, which made settling in very easy. I also appreciated the communal areas, which were relaxed and suitable for catch up with other travellers or just unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Overall, this hostel offers very good value for money and is a great choice for budget-conscious travellers visiting the city."

"We had an evening meal (two couples). The menu in the Bramley House had a few more options than we had seen online. One of us is a vegetarian and for her there were very few options. Anyway, after ordering our drinks the starters came. The soup was a little cold and the pate didn’t look so good. My wife had the fish & chips option and the batter wasn’t crisp at all. In fact the whole meal had the look of something which had previously been frozen. So the food wasn’t great but the staff were very friendly. My recommendation would be a visit for afternoon tea or high tea but not an evening meal ☹️"

"Staff great... proprietors disgusting. We have been coming here for the past 18 mths weekly... never had to complain cos staff and food always been good. Today, food was awful, proprietor said if not to your satisfaction go somewhere else... acceptable? I don't think so. We've spent so much money here, but the response was unbelievable. I have so much love for the staff. They do their utmost to please everyone... but the proprietors don't give a damn about their regulars. If you want over priced drinks, but decent priced... well unacceptable meals then visit... but don't expect a warm welcome apart from the staff"

"Stayed as close to Huntingdon Racecourse as where our cycle ride was starting. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was small and a little tired, the shower was OK, no flexibility with it, so had to wash my hair, which had only just been cut 4 hours ago. The breakfast was cereals, toast, packeted croissant, tea, coffee and fresh fruit juice. Really good value for the price. When booking the initial price changed which was frustrating, but still extremely good value for a last minute booking."
