They offered complimentary fruit and beverages, and the late-night snack service was a thoughtful touch, with staff on-site to prepare noodles. The breakfast spread was excellent, featuring milk tea, freshly steamed shaomai, and noodles, among other things. I'd definitely want to stay here again next time I visit Hohhot."

It was a stay with very clear pros and cons. First, let's talk about the room's strengths, which was the most satisfying part of this stay. The room was incredibly spacious, with no cramped or stuffy feeling. Whether traveling alone or with companions, there was more than enough room to move around. The overall cleanliness of the room was excellent; the floors, tables, bedding, and bathroom areas were all spotless, with no stains, dust, or strange odors. Attention to detail was evident. The indoor lighting and ventilation were great; the windows were clear, providing ample natural light during the day, making the room bright and airy with good air circulation, preventing any stuffiness. Additionally, the mattress and pillows were just right – not too soft, not too firm – and the furniture arrangement was practical. The overall living comfort was good, perfectly meeting the needs for daily rest or a temporary stay. The hardware conditions are quite outstanding for accommodations in this price range. Upon arrival, I found that there were a lot of guests checking in, and the front desk had a long, dense queue. We waited in the lobby for a very long time, which was a significant drain on time and energy, especially waiting with luggage. This greatly diminished the experience. During peak hours, with many guests, it's easy for people to pile up in queues and experience congested waiting times, which is very unfriendly to travelers who are on a tight schedule and want to check in quickly to rest. In summary, the hotel's room hardware, hygiene, and living comfort are commendable, making for a very good living experience. However, the excessively long wait during peak check-in times dragged down the overall check-in experience."

"Location is not the best area in Hohhot, but taxi is cheap in the city so it was not a big issue. What bothered us the most was the fact that the room is “non-smoking” but had obvious smell of smoke when we arrived, and an ashtray (?!) is part of the room amenities. I asked the front if I was put in the wrong room and they said that it was indeed non-smoking but due to the language barrier they could not explain the ashtray well. Besides that, it was OK in terms of cleanliness and the bed was comfortable. The smell faded away from the 2nd night. Staff was also very helpful for fulfilling our requests. I recommend the hotel to remove the ashtray to suggest guests to not smoke. All in all it is a decent accommodation for what you pay for."

"There were several footprints on the walls 👣, and I just figured that's how it is with decades-old establishments. Luckily, the staff proactively called our room for a follow-up. After we explained the situation and mentioned we had already showered, the staff were still very helpful and moved us to another room. There were still a few footprints on the walls in the new room – some guests are just so uncivilized. The showerhead was also leaking. The hotel should really check these facilities proactively."

"This hotel is a great option for a layover, located right in the city center. The only downside was that the first floor was under renovation. However, it's super convenient for getting around since it's very close to the subway entrance. It's also really close to the grasslands, and there are tons of food and drink options right outside. The main advantage is definitely the convenient transportation; lines 1 and 2 are just a quick turn away."

"Pros: The location is excellent, right next to Metro Lines 1 and 2, literally downstairs. There's also a good shopping mall diagonally opposite, making it convenient for groceries and shopping. Cons: The only flaw was the heavy smoke smell in the room. I tried two different rooms, and they were both the same. Since I'd already unpacked and was in a hurry to leave, I didn't bother changing again. It took a few hours of opening the window for the smoke smell to finally dissipate. Other: The temperature in Hohhot was pleasant, and with the window screens, I could open the windows without worrying about mosquitoes and enjoy the natural air."

We brought some traditional Chinese medicine, and she kindly stored it in the refrigerator for us. She even thoughtfully froze some ice water to help us keep the medicine cool during our journey, which we truly appreciated! Staying here felt like being at home. Dining options nearby were also very convenient. Overall, it's great value for money and highly recommended."
