"It’s a small hotel with ten floors and beautiful views. We were lucky to get rooms with a Mt. Fuji view for both rooms. The rooms are small and compact, as is typical for Japanese accommodations, but they are fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. The weather during our stay was quite cold, and at night the air conditioner worked as a heater, but it didn’t feel warm at all. The breakfast was simple, but it was filling."

"The hotel is very close to Fuji Station, right outside the exit. The facilities are a bit old, but the rooms are larger than those in Tokyo. Overall, it's clean and offers good value for money. There aren't many convenience stores nearby; you have to walk a bit to find a 7-Eleven, but there's a small convenience store next to the ticket gate inside Fuji Station that can suffice. Although it's next to the station, it's relatively quiet at night, as JR Tokai doesn't have many late-night services. On clear days, you can see Mount Fuji from the pedestrian bridge at the station. Fuji Station is served by the Tokaido Main Line and the Minobu Line (terminus). Fuji City isn't a tourist city; it's an industrial one, so a one-day trip to hit the main spots is usually enough."

"Basic but clean and well maintained. 3 beds is perfect for our family of 4 to stay together. Location is fine since we are driving, perhaps a bit far if using public transit. donki and old town is nearby"

"the staff were great! they gave us a room with an amazing view of mt fuji on a high floor!! breakfast was healthy and delicious too! just a minus cus location was a little out of the way, it wasn’t very convenient for locals when we took the public bus (SUPER SMALL) with 2 medium size luggages. had to book an uber to go back to the station cus it was raining"

"This was my first time staying at a Toyoko Inn, and initially, I found the high level of self-service a bit overwhelming. Perhaps it was because there were so many guests and everything moved at a fast pace. I think it's more suited for experienced business travelers. The English proficiency of the front desk staff wasn't as good as I'd hoped, and this was consistent across every Toyoko Inn I stayed at afterward. Maybe because of the extensive self-service, the front desk's role is more auxiliary, so strong English skills aren't as crucial. Like all other Toyoko Inns, this one had excellent facilities: water dispensers, ice machines, hot water dispensers, microwaves, coffee makers, vending machines – everything you could need. The breakfast was standard and featured Japanese specialties. The location is unbeatable, just a three-minute walk from the Shin-Fuji Station exit. If I had to pick a downside, the highly standardized management meant it lacked the 'personal touch' many people look for in a hotel. Check-in and check-out times are strictly enforced, and the hotel only handles matters related to your stay; they won't help with local travel guides or transportation questions."

"The first time I came to Mount Fuji, a rare experience. This hotel is very kind and clean. The hot spring is big. The focus is on cheap prices. It also includes breakfast and dinner. The dinner is super rich and has fresh emperor crab feet. "I visit Fujicity for business twice a year, and this is always my go-to hotel. It's conveniently located near my workplace. There's a great restaurant right next door (where you can also enjoy drinks), a convenience store just around the corner, and even a ramen shop nearby. The only minor drawback is its distance from Shin-Fuji Station."

"The hotel is located directly on Honcho Main Street, offering a wonderful view of Mount Fuji on a clear day. It's also right next to the JR Shin-Fuji Station, but this is not the Shin-Fuji Station where the Shinkansen bullet train departs! (That one is a 25-minute walk away.) Check-in is easy, the staff is friendly, slippers, a towel, and a toothbrush/toothpaste are provided, and there's a refrigerator. Everything was clean."
