"The amenities were excellent, and the room was spacious and relaxing. ^ ^ The location was also great, and I was impressed by the sunset reflected on the ocean and the starry sky. "the breakfast and evening alcohol are really amazing. sushi supplied in the breakfast was even better than those we got the other day from a local restaurant LOL room is big and tidy with a cloth washer inside. They even provide you with the laundry detergent. Super useful as we are going out for snorkeling and biking every day ... definitely would advise for all."

"The location is absolutely fantastic. It's just a three-minute walk to the bus terminal, and there are many famous local shops nearby. Plus, the street right next door turns into a lively Izakaya street in the evenings. The staff are incredibly thoughtful and attentive; they always go out of their way to help us resolve any issues (they also offer services like taxi booking and car rental). As for facilities, the first floor boasts a large public bath (onsen), a souvenir shop, a laundry room, and a swimming pool. The public bath is quite traditional, so do note its specific operating hours. If you happen to forget your waterproof bag, the shop sells them, though their quality isn't great for photography. On the third floor, you'll find an ice machine and vending machines for beer and other drinks, which is super convenient for a quick purchase, even with nearby convenience stores. Our tour guide mentioned that the breakfast here is also excellent, but we didn't have enough time during our trip to add it to our package. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to friends! While the price point is mid-to-high range, I truly feel it offers excellent value for money."

"I decided on this place simply for its value, but it exceeded my expectations. All the basic amenities are provided. Towels are also replaced daily. Laundry detergent is available for 50 yen. There's also a washer and dryer, so no need to worry about laundry. 😀 The downtown area is only a 5-minute walk away. There's also a Family Mart just a minute away, which is convenient. If I ever return to Ishigaki, I would book this place again without hesitation."

"The breakfast offered a wide variety of good quality options, and even on weekdays, the hotel had a high occupancy rate. The staff were very friendly; I was particularly touched when the gentleman responsible for cleaning in the morning bowed to me in a traditional Japanese greeting. We booked sea view rooms through Trip.com, and my friend and I each made separate bookings. It turned out the room types were slightly different, with one being much closer to the sea, which led to a bit of a disagreement with the front desk. Luckily, we speak Japanese, and the hotel eventually made a compromise, for which I'm grateful! I hope Trip.com can be more accurate when describing room types during the booking process to avoid such unnecessary hassle. The hotel is right by the sea, and the water is clear, but it's a shame there's no sandy beach, which was a bit disappointing. The rooms are also on the smaller side."

"The hotel is in good location and very accessible to city area. The staffs are friendly and it is to great pleasure with the tour centre inside inside the hotel which you can easily book a lot of outdoor activities without worrying all the transportation arrangements. The availability with massage shops, souvenir shop, spa and sauna, swimming pool, bar and restaurants are very comprehensive and you can just enjoyed all kinds of amenities by staying in this one single hotel. There are some restaurants nearby the hotel as well which also serve as a very good alternative for dining options."

"The owner of Ohana guesthouse is amazing! The kindest and most hospitable man i have met. Even though his english is not all that good he really listens with interest and tries to connect. He cooks every night and you're invited to join for a very low price. When we ate together (Hotpot) and everyone was speaking japanese he kept trying to include me in the conversation. When i left after two days he even waved goodbye from the stairs till i turned the corner. The cabins were spacious and had a little fan and a mirror with a ledge inside, which is super nice! The toilets and showers were clean and nice and the little wash area was super cute and had everything you could want. the kitchen has everything you need to cook for yourself but for 200/400/800¥ you can join dinner so i didnt cook. Hands down the coziest guesthouse i have been, massive reccomendations!"
