"We loved the location, our room, and the owners. A perfect illustration of the warm welcome you will find here is a sign they have posted outside in the mornings. They brew great coffee and supply various creams and cups to go with it along with water. The sign reads as follows: “HOT! Deep Water Inn Guests & Future Customers…Please Enjoy some Hot Coffee Thank you for staying or visiting us!” The days we stayed, their little breakfast/lunch shack was not open but the menu looks really good for a quick breakfast or a bag lunch for exploring the National Park. The location is great for catching the ferry to the National Park as well as walking back and forth to the little town of Chelan."

"I have reserved one-bedroom suite at the Chelan Lake House one month before our trip through *********** and my credit card was fully charged at the time of reservation. I've got a confirmation message few days before our trip. However when we arrived at the Chelan Lake House at 7 pm on October 7 to check in, I was told at the front desk that the property is overbooked since October 6 (!) and they decided to "relocate" us, i.e. I had to call *********** to ask to find us other place to stay. After one hour on the phone with *********** I was told that they can't find any similar accomodation at Chelan at that time (of course, everything was already booked). So we basically were kicked out of the reserved and paid accomodation nowhere, we had to go to another town to find ourselves a place for staying overnight. I even couldn't imagine this might happen in our world. So please beware it might always happen if you deal with this property, I understand this "relocation" is a standard procedure for them."
