"Our last night in Chizhou, we chose Wyndham, our first time staying at this brand, and the experience was extremely poor. First, I'd like to commend the staff who checked us in that evening. We arrived quite late, and the staff members were all very enthusiastic, so the initial impression was quite good. The room smelled nice, but the drain in the bathroom was clearly not cleaned properly, and there were still hairs stuck to the shampoo bottle in the shower. Around 10 PM, I went to take a shower. The water pressure from the overhead shower was very low, and the water wasn't hot, even less hot than the water from the faucet. When I switched to the handheld shower, the water pressure became even lower. The platform showed that the hotel was fully booked that day, and it was already past 10 PM. With the mindset of not wanting to bother the hotel, and having to get up early for our return journey the next day, I was afraid of a late-night hassle, so I didn't contact engineering to check the room. I just thought I'd give feedback when asked about our stay during check-out the next day. The lady who handled our check-out the next day had a terrible attitude, looking visibly annoyed, with almost zero communication throughout the process, let alone proactively asking about our stay. Never mind what kind of service a 700-a-night hotel should provide, even a Hanting for 300+ a night offers a better experience than this. On our way back in the afternoon, the hotel called to inquire about our stay. The customer service representative also seemed very unprofessional, and their communication was halting and clumsy. I didn't intend to leave any review, but I was very dissatisfied with everything from check-in to the final complaint handling. This one night's stay left a very bad impression on the conclusion of our trip to Southern Anhui, and we will not choose the Wyndham brand again."
