Great hotel in a great location. Second time to stay and would stay again. They gave us a room upgrade on the 11th floor. Thank you.

Location of the hotel is excellent. All the junior staff at the front desk are sweet and very friendly.  Reception supervisor, Ali Brown, could use some training and skills in handling customers. I found his handling to be quite confrontational and aggressive.

The hotel is quite old but the restaurant is refubished. They have a USB port cum alarm clock that cannot charge. Breafast was good in the refurbished restaurant.

The family room is huge! The beds can fit 2 adults and 4 children (if the hotel allows). We used this as a one night hotel stay before heading to the airport in the morning. The staff kindly helped my children check in and bring our numerous luggage to the room because my husband and I had to rush to Hertz to drop off the car. Sorry we didn’t tip as we didn’t know who you were! But thank you! We really should’ve stayed one more night and eaten at the 4.5 star google rated restaurant in the hotel. Can walk to shops + major car drop off. Apx NZD$30 Uber ride to airport!

The hotel is centrally located in Christchurch, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. The overall cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel were commendable. However, the rooms are not very spacious, which was a bit of a letdown. Additionally, the curtains appeared to have not been cleaned for a long time, which negatively impacted my experience. Despite these issues, the prime location and cleanliness of the hotel made for a reasonable stay.

Great location

The location is very good, very central, 10 minutes walk to the riverside market. The room is quite large, although a bit old, but relatively clean. The service is super good. After checking in, we went to return the car first, and helped us deliver all five pieces of luggage to the room. After checking out, we stored our luggage. There is a large area in the lobby where we can rest and tidy up, which is very good.

Opposite the Christ Church, very quiet, good service

The hotel room size is OK, the location is also good, but everything else is very average, including service, breakfast, hardware, etc. The parking fee is quite high, and there was no response when I contacted and booked in advance as required. Finally, Ctrip said that the parking space had been reserved. The minibar was inexplicably deducted after I checked out without consumption, and the management is still chaotic.

The location is right in the city center, not many tourists in the off-season, valet parking is great, drive to the hotel gate, someone will help you park in a locked parking lot, it feels very safe. The hotel at this price does not have high requirements for facilities, the suite we stayed in was very spacious, the bathroom was particularly large, and the price-performance ratio was quite good.

Good location, big room, good bedding, and ok service. In short, I like it.
