"The neighbourhood may be a bit sketchy but this is one of the best 3-star hotels I've ever stayed at. Small basic rooms with fresh basic ammentities. Very clean! Friendly and accomodating staff with limited English-language compensated by a great attitude when reciprocated. The food quality in the restaurant was outstanding. Try the "sliced meat and fried flour" for breakfast. Don't forget a capuccino. They're not of the fake powdered chemnical variety; each drink is carefully pulled from a proper professional espresso machine (can't say as much for some of the higher-star hotels here in Colón). If you just need a clean place to stay and don't wish to venture far in the neighbourhood, this is it!"

"Horrible hotel! The worst I've ever experienced... Absolutely no comfort. The bed sheets were stained, the bathroom was disgusting, a single, pathetic LED light on the ceiling, no bedside lamps or outlets to charge your phone... and bath towels from the last century. An unfriendly receptionist who clearly didn't care about us. No elevator and no one to help you. In short, a complete disaster! Seriously. At this price, it's a rip-off and shows no respect for either the customers or the hotel industry... The fact is, we left immediately... I didn't want my wife to spend a single night in this horrible, depressing place! Another thing...don't count on Trip.com to help or support you after you complain...you'll receive a nice, polite, well-rehearsed apology and a €20 refund, even though you didn't even spend a single night in the hotel, if you can even call it a hotel. More like a rabbit hutch! Kudos to Trip.com for continuing to promote this type of establishment! As long as we pay! They don't care about anything else. We're really suckers!"

"This hotel clearly had better days. However, they are working on a large renovation and with its location next to the entrance of the Panama Canal, there is potention. Prices are in line with what you get. We had a clean room with good beds. The music at the pool can be very loud. The restaurant is more a snackbat with limited options."
