Evening cocktails watching the sun go down are thoroughly recommended. We had various early morning visits from a wallaby carrying a joey which was a surprise. The gorge and national park entrance are only a few minutes walk away. The gorge cruise is a must."

"We stayed in the two bedroom apartment. This was the quirkiest place we stayed during our trip but this added to the Katherine experience. The kitchen had a great selection of crockery and cooking utensils and the bedrooms were super comfy. On our second night after a full day of sightseeing we opted to eat in and the lovely guy from reception brought it to the door. I had the chicken curry (delicious) and my husband the big burger and chips, thumbs up here also. The staff here worked really hard all the time and the accommodation reflects this. Thank you K-Town"
