"I loved staying at the Wyken Inn, in Coventry. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left,I was made to feel very welcome. The management and all the staff were all so friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable, The food was great and being a Wheelchair user, nothing was too much trouble for any of them. I would highly recommend staying here and I am looking forward to going back to stay there in May. THANKS GUYS. LYNN."

"We travelled to Coventry for The Wooden Spoon rugby event. The Telegraph was perfect for us, we flew into birmingham and got the bus straight to the hotel £2 each….the location was terrific, shops and restaurants only minutes away. We had room service our first night, food was delicious, really enjoyed the buffet breakfast it had a really great selection. Our room was spotless, the beds very comfortable…air con was very welcomed as it was a really warm weekend….can’t say enough good things about the staff, everyone very helpful and polite…….I would recommend The Telegraph to anyone travelling to Coventry, we will be back."

Welcoming hosts and a clean and comfortable place - lovely to have coffee pods and milk ready for arrival. The breakfast bag was one of the best I have had - warm croissants and a mini bacon bap along with porridge, juice and yogurt . Amazing value and will definitely come again."

"I regularly visit The Old Hall Hotel to work on my university assignments in the coffee shop, so when I spotted their Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea advertisement, I thought it would be the perfect treat for my mum—especially as she loves afternoon tea. Having already gotten to know the staff and the atmosphere, I felt confident booking, and it truly exceeded expectations from start to finish. The setting itself is beautiful, with a warm and relaxing atmosphere that makes it ideal for celebrating a special occasion. It felt like the perfect place to make Mother’s Day feel extra special. The afternoon tea was absolutely delightful. Everything was freshly prepared and beautifully presented, with a fantastic selection of finger sandwiches, delicious cakes, and freshly baked scones served with jam and cream. The tea and coffee kept flowing, and the complimentary glass of prosecco was a lovely touch. It really felt like a classic British afternoon tea done properly. What made the experience even more memorable was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. As an added bonus, my mum and I were given a VIP seat, which we both genuinely appreciated. It was the perfect way to celebrate Mother’s Day and make my mum feel special. I would highly recommend afternoon tea here to anyone looking for a lovely treat or a special place to celebrate with family—we will definitely be returning!"
