Cupertino Hotel

"This hotel is long in the tooth.  The rooms outdated.  The lumpy worn mattress was outdone by the worn out pillows.  Customer service was non-existent.  Arrived to the hotel a bit early (2:30)due to a canceled meeting.  The hotel was completely empty (no more than 10 rooms could have been occupied among the hundred) and my room was ready - the desk person had my key and paperwork all ready - however he informed me that I would need to wait for the official check-in time (4:00) or pay an additional $40 to receive the keys.  I did, but it just amplified how terrible the rest of the experience was - paper thin walls, maid carts dragging along the exterior corridor (the hotel is really more like a motel as the rooms are all accessed around an open air courtyard (with functionless fountains).  I will never return."
