"This hotel is in a very serene environment that is beautiful! My friend and I loved the grounds, our rooms, and the excellent restaurant. Denfeng is a small but charming town and this is a perfect location to enjoy the beautiful nature in this area. The staff were very friendly, professional, and attentive. Gao Yupeng was especially helpful. He speaks English and had great information about the best places to go in the area and the best ways to get there. The only thing that my friend and I regretted is that we didn't book a longer stay. I would definitely stay there again, especially in the cooler weather because they have amazing looking hot springs."

"It doesn't seem feasible to reach the hotel by public transport, so having a car is necessary. Accessing the hotel entrance on foot involves climbing a flight of stairs from ground level. Once inside, guests must take the lift to reach the reception on level 6 for check-in. Luggage loading can be managed in carpark B1, and this requires the hotel to open the gate for vehicle access. In terms of service, the hotel staff were attentive and provided good service. They efficiently dried my son's and my sports shoes overnight, saving us from having to travel in wet footwear the next day. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which was delivered to our room. We were able to enjoy it on our small balcony, which was a delightful touch. The breakfast was both healthy and delicious."

"I have to give this hotel a big praise! The hotel's environment is elegant and the decoration is exquisite. The room was clean and tidy, and the details were full of care. The room service is good, nothing to say, the proprietress is very warm and caring, the room is cleaned very well, and it is very convenient to get in and out of the scenic spot. The overall is very good, which makes me feel like going home. It’s this time I stayed for a day and waited for the next time I come to Shaolin Temple to play here."

"In order to be more comfortable and reduce the time on the road, this trip has specially set up a relatively expensive homestay near Shaolin Temple. The location is in the village next to Shaolin Temple, but this homestay has joined Moshang, the decoration is very good, there is a laundry room, self-service foot bath equipment, tea room. Because it is two big and two small, I booked a star parent-child room for 2 nights, a double bed, one single bed, communicated in advance to let the store put the bedding on the tatami on the floor, the store had already packed it before we arrived, and turned on the air conditioner in advance. The parent-child room is relatively spacious, with a separate washing machine, bathtub, men's and women's toilets, showers, open the door to the terrace, and the view is very good. The terrace is public, but the table facing the balcony door of the parent-child room is dedicated. It is very comfortable and refreshing to get up every morning and look out the window. The next night it didn't rain, bought kebabs and chicken wings from the store freezer, and barbecued on the balcony, and the child was very happy. The value-added services provided by the store have free pick-up and drop-off from close attractions, which is really convenient. Everyone's service is very good."

"We stayed two nights here for our visit to Shaolin Temple. Upon arrival, we were immediately struck by the beautifully landscaped grounds and pleasant environment. The hotel itself is quite expansive, featuring numerous buildings, and functions as a large-scale hospitality complex for accommodation and dining – truly a garden-style hotel. The front desk staff were very warm and attentive during check-in. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel offers ample parking. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes, along with fresh fruit and good beverages. We stayed in Building 3, and our room offered spectacular panoramic mountain views from the window. Overall, our stay was excellent value for money. We would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit and highly recommend it to friends and family."

"We had a lovely stay. The food is well prepared and delicious. The hotel is beautifully decorated and our boys were amazed at all the Kung Fu weapons on display. The staff were polite and helped us purchase tickets to the Kung Fu show and very friendly to our children. My only complaint is the black coffee was too weak and watered down. But given Chinese are not really coffee drinkers, this was a small problem and easy to forgive with all the other special things about this hotel. I would most certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family."

"A homestay that deserves 100 points! The room is clean and tidy, and the towels and other supplies are of good quality. It is much more comfortable than the three or four hundred hotels I booked before! The breakfast is also delicious! There are many kinds of food! Eat well! The most important thing is! The uncles and aunts are very enthusiastic, considerate, and friendly (a hundred words of praise omitted here). The next day, we went to climb Songshan Mountain, and the luggage was stored in the homestay. I came back at 6 o'clock after climbing. Because I had to go to Zhengzhou to take the high-speed rail at 9 o'clock, I wanted to rest in the lobby. The uncles and aunts were not impatient at all! Instead, they brought us water and bananas from time to time, and fried cakes for us a little later in case we were hungry! It's really so nice! With such a boss, it's hard not to be happy! Highly recommended! I will definitely stay here when I come to play in the future! I hope the uncles and aunts have a prosperous business! Good health!"

"The location is very good, very close to Songyang Academy and not far from Shaolin Temple. The lady at the front desk is nice and kind, and the service is fast. Due to personal reasons, I noted the room requirements and was upgraded for free, which was a pleasant surprise. The room is large, quiet and clean, and it is highly recommended."

"We are a couple from Sweden that has been backpacking around the world for two years and we usually travel a lot. The stay was very nice! Very comfy bed with great duna and linen. The shower was awesome! And the room is beautiful. The breakfast room/reception is nice to relax at and there is also a living room when you enter the building were you can relax as well. Try to get a room on a higher floor and you get some mountain views. The owners are lovely and the husband is a somilier and gave us a glass of wine for free when we ordered dinner. You really need to try their food! It was really nice and so was the breakfast. We had dinner twice when we were there, try the sizzling beef and mushrooms. The staff is really nice and helpful especially the owners brother that helped us a lot with everything! We will for sure stay here again when we visit Dengfeng.
