"This hotel was as stated in the reviews. The hotel was a good stay. The staff was nice and accommodating. The room was cleaned and smelled good. The free breakfast was good and clean. The only negative was the front entry, it had no thrills. Planter were full of weeds, trash and grass was over grown. A huge pile of cigarette butts just outside the front door in the planter. Overall I would stay here again it just needed some attention to detail."

"Sad. They are allowing non guest onto the beach in front of the hotel with tents and fishing. The people fishing ran off the guest sitting close by them. Where the non hotel guest sat their tent would have been great for the guest. Back in the summer they didn’t allow this stuff to happen."

"I was very pleasantly surprised at the hotel lobby and rooms and especially the breakfast dining room area and healthy breakfast varieties to choose from. The hotel is a smaller one and so inexpensive that I honestly didn’t set my expectations too high but I was impressed upon entering the lobby. It had the same quality as staying at an upscale Hilton. Very clean. The decor was beautiful and the 2 ladies at the lobby counter who were from Jamaica were cheerful and professional. My daughter and I stayed at Spark by Hilton in Destin, FLorida. We felt safe there. And the VERY spacious dining area and food selection was elaborate. The best and healthiest selection I’ve seen anywhere so far. A lady named Christine greeted us right away when we came to the breakfast area and she was genuinely cheerful like the women had been at the check in desk. From check in to check out, it was a very pleasant stay. I will stay there again. I would even stay there alone."

"If you don't look for a luxury hotel but an affordable, clean and comfortable one, the Club Destin Resort would be the choice. I thought to cancel the booking after reading quite a few reviews here including the past and present ones. My worries were gone in a minute after entering my one-bedroom suite. There are two queen's beds in the bedroom both are comfortable to my standard with a full bath. There is a door to block the hallway leading to the living room and the kitchen. To my surprise, there are two full bathrooms and two 6 ft. long vanities. All the furniture is not high-end but in good shape. The kitchen appliances look like modern. My family stayed for a week and honestly, I could not find something to complain about. The resort is on the bustling section of HWY 98. In a mile distance, there are Publix, Walmart and restaurants which met our daily needs. Most of the water sports and sightseeing activities could be found within 7 miles distance."
