Brilliant hotel right by Lapad. Best part of Dubrovnik is a stones throw away and easy transport or even walking distance to town. Clean hotel, friendly staff and a truly amazing breakfast to kick start your day! Will be back!

Enjoyed staying here for 2 nights. Receptionist was very welcoming and helped us checked in/out easily. Room was clean and big, and had a balcony view as expected. Buffet breakfast starts early and lots of food to choose from! Only downside of this hotel is the location as it is far from the old town and most restaurants although it is close to the beach. Will recommend this hotel especially if you will be driving around Dubrovnik.

A very affordable small hotel, breakfast is enough, the price is not expensive, very close to the attractions, basically no need to take a car, recommended

Hotel Ivka is close to the city walls and 2.3 km to the city walls tour and the old town, though its 20 km from Dubrovnik airport towards the city. The first impression of the hotel is that it is clean and tidy. The room is spacious and bright for a hotel. Best of all, the breakfast is awesome. It's the best among the 18 days after entering Europe.. The food cooked with vegetables is really delicious. everything is satisfactory Highly recommended to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

조식부페의 퀄리티가 그저그러했지만 위치, 시설편의, 숙소 청결상태 등 모두 만족했습니다. 특히 구도심 관광지와 접근성이 좋아서 매우 편리하고 만족스러웠습니다.

If you want to feel stupid and inappropriate, go to hotel Ivka in Dubrovnik. What else you should do to get a feel of the authentic bad Balkan attitude? Tell them if there is something wrong with their service. Instead of an apology, they’ll tell you you are stupid and will tell you to behave yourself! Literary. Got forbid they forgot to put toilet paper in the room. Their reception desk number is nowhere in your room and they don’t bother to respond the external phone (at 17:30 but also at any time). When I get down, the reception desk is free of people, so the front manager has all the chance to attend the phone if he wanted. And then it becomes interesting. Especially if the front officer is called Ivaca. Since I’m in the travel industry and bring around 160 tourists to this hotel in the last months, I informed about the problem and permitted myself to suggest a few things in order to improve the tourist experience and avoid any of my clients stress out the way I did. This was a huge mistake. What happened left me struck by lightning. So yes, in the hospitality business where you arrive tired and beaten up and look for a safe harbor to feel rested, it leaves a bitter taste in the mouth to experience this type of treatment.

I'm fortunate to get a newly renovated floor. Very very clean. Super comfortable bed. Nice linen. Great large shower with rainwater head. Plenty of hot water. Really nice bathroom. I had a private balcony which was nice. Air con quiet. Rooms very wuiet Breakfast was very good, lots of choices and good quality. Location was near a bus stop to old city. We found it better to use a BOLT (Like uber) to get to the old city. Bus is very cramped.

The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was excellent, great choice. Located out of town, walk to Old Town approx 40 mins but good bus service nearby which made it very easy. Room was clean, slightly dated, corner shower was a bit small. Hotel was quiet and we enjoyed our stay.

Hotel Ivka is a wonderful hotel all around! Hotel Ivka is located in the New Town, 2 km removed from Dubrovnik's Old Town/city walls. Old Town is over priced and full of tourists, making this a quiet and an ideal place to retreat to after a long day of sightseeing. There are many restaurants nearby the hotel, as well as a small fruit shop (30 metres from the hotel) and a small supermarket (about 150 metres from the hotel). I could find everything I needed for a comfortable stay nearby to the hotel. I walked to and from the Old Town (just over 2 km on foot), but bus number 6 will take you to the Old Town if you prefer to use public transport. The cost of the bus is under 2 Euro, you can purchase a ticket on the bus or at a little kiosk outside the bus, and the bus ride takes about 10 minutes. The bus stop is only 100-200 metres from the hotel. This hotel is very busy, receiving large tour groups every day. However, staff were very efficient with the check-in process. Staff were professional, courteous and were there to answer any questions you have. The reception offers a city/tourist map also. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar. I didn't use either, so I cannot comment on the quality or pricing. Rooms were very modern and nicely decorated. There were two twin beds in my room, which for me wasn't a problem. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bed linen felt clean, almost brand new. The firmness of the mattress and pillows were perfect for me! The rooms are on the smaller side, but, I had plenty of room to navigate, traveling only with a small backpack. The room came equipped with a desk, a chair, two bed side tables, a large luggage storage cabinet with hangers, and even had its own outdoor/private patio with a table and two chairs! The view from the hotel is nothing to write home about, but it was nice to have the option to sit outside in your own space should you choose. The bathrooms were clean and modern! Smartly designed, with ample space to move around. Ample towels were provided - 2 hand towels, 2 large bath towels and a floor mat. Towels were fresh, fluffy and felt brand new! Toiletries and necessities were restocked every day by housekeeping, including toilet paper, hand soap in dispenser above the sink, and in shower body/hair gel. The only other amenities provided were 2 shower caps and a couple of mugs in the room. Appreciated the enclosed shower. Water pressure and temperature were both great! There was no fridge nor was there an electric kettle, however it wasn't a problem for me. They would have been a nice perk! Air conditioning was in good working order, but, note that it is centrally controlled. You cannot adjust the temperature in your room yourself, and so it tends to be on the cooler in the room. The blanket on the bed was on the thicker side, so this kept me warm overnight. Wifi worked, but it was extremely spotty. Maybe it was just the floor I was on, but the wifi signal cut in and out. There was a flatscre

Breakfast was good but buffet dinner not so. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Bus stop was only few minutes’ walk away but always difficult to board.

When we first came in to the room we noticed that in the balcony there was somebody’s underwear. Eventually staff cleaned it. The air conditioner was working but it could not be turned off or adjusted and it made a loud noise. We informed the staff and finally we were directed to use the air conditioning by turning the fuse on and off. Room was ok and the breakfast was good. We were able to keep our luggage at the hotel after check-out, which was nice.

Good stay! We were at the hotel for one night, because we had an early flight home the next morning. Yes, the decor was outdated but the hotel is very clean, which I think is more important. The staff was very friendly. The room was very spacious, enough room for our family of four.

Comfortable, centrally located, private parking and friendly staff made us feel welcomed. Easy access to the promenade, beach and a short bus ride into Old Town. Plenty of shops, restaurants and bars in the area and all in walking distance.

A cross between something quirky and something traditional, Hotel Ivka is, in the end, fairly traditional. A few positives: excellent breakfast, and helpful, cheerful, reception desk. The man there even told the hotel would pack a breakfast bag for a morning with an early tour departure. They were happy to hold onto my luggage on my last day. The woman there was so upbeat! The room was fairly standard, and a tea/coffee kettle would have been nice, but overall I was happy and satisfied with the stay.
