"We had a double room, which was very beautiful and bright. The rooms have very beautiful colours and are tastefully furnished. The bathrooms are very clean and breakfast was very delicious. The breakfast buffet had a very large selection of fruit to Müsli. It is a Greek restaurant right next to the hotel, allowing you to go through a door to the restaurant without having to leave the hotel. The hotel has a very central location, it is quite close to the city and it is very close to the wall that is super suited for beautiful walks. It really liked us and we'd like to come back."

"We visited the hotel in 2019 (under the old owner) and in August 2023. Whoever here expects a modern hotel is disappointed here. No, this hotel is needed to visit if you look for something else. The hotel is in an old building from the Preussen times. Even when you arrive (parking right in the house), you can see this great restored old building. When you enter, you will immediately notice that here is sprayed a special charm of history. The hotel has a total of 20 rooms of different size and equipment. There is no lift here, but a large stairs. We had room 28 in the first floor, at the end of the corridor. With a front/garderobe you get into the room (by an extra door). The room is divided into the bedroom with a bed and a hairdryer with a large leather couch, a small desk with a small refrigerator and coffee maker. The back of it is the bathroom. All is in good to very good condition and clean. The breakfast offered is normal standard. The hotel staff is nice and always helpful. Concluded: When we come back to Emden, we'll go back to this hotel."

The team had prepared everything very festively and served the 40 or so people wonderfully and professionally - simply excellent service! The atmosphere in the newly designed room was just perfect and helped make the celebration an unforgettable experience. The food and drinks were delicious and were praised by all the guests. We were also very impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of your staff. It was a pleasure to enjoy the celebration at the Goldener Adler.
