"1. Public areas are poorly clean, and the lobby windows are stained. 2. Management is disorganized. Drunk guests knocked on our doors in the middle of the night, and at 8 a.m., they knocked on our doors asking if we needed our rooms cleaned. We had to swipe our card at the front desk every time we left the parking lot. 3. Even after staying there, we still smelled the lingering smell of renovations. The soundproofing was extremely poor, and we could clearly hear the chatter of late-coming guests and the noise of early-rising children. The soundproofing on the doors was completely useless, practically useless. 4. Smoking regulations were lacking, and the hallways were perpetually filled with the stench of cigarette smoke."

"This “Songshu Inn” (“Squirrel Hotel” on the actual sign) is next to the entrance to the “seven-colored forest” - a surprisingly fun and family-friendly place to visit in the summer, well, at least for families who do not come from the actual prairie. Mostly domestic travelers but that should be a taken at such a lesser-known location internationally. Still, we ended up staying an extra day to visit nearby theme parks. As someone who had spent more than a year in business/resort hotels all over the world, all I want to say that the hospitality of the hotel staff truly exceeded my expectations."
