We went downstairs to the Meilin Tiandi board game bar and played UNO, our favorite game from college; the loser had to sing our club song. We then headed to Sam's Club to buy a huge jug of Coke, which we shared in glass cups, making the simple act feel incredibly special. At the upcycling exhibition in the nearby building materials market, we stood by an old radio, debating whether it could be transformed into a club souvenir. In the evening, we strolled along the Pearl River, and someone suggested we recreate our old club group photo from our college days. Our laughter, carried by the river breeze, was even louder than the slogans we used to shout on the sports field. That kind of unspoken bond, transcending time, felt more precious than any formal reunion.
