"A last minute booking (as we needed to move from a less than suitable hotel nearby) and we were not disappointed! An excellent hotel with a lovely welcome and wonderful front of house service. We had a superior room which was lovely with complimentary Prosecco to celebrate my wife's birthday whilst we were there. Although we didn't use it, complimentary spa and pool use was included with our room and the breakfasts and dinners were excellent with a good choice of dishes and impeccable service throughout. Well done on an excellent two night stay albeit a bit on the expensive side."

The air conditioning could use an upgrade or service and storage space would be welcome. Overall though, it was a great place and within walking to everything. Gubbio is a beautiful city!! "I can't say enough about what a wonderful stay we had here. I unfortunately broke my foot on day 2 of the trip, and the entire staff bent over backwards to help us get to the hospital, change rooms, extend our stay, etc. They provided what we needed at every turn, and I will be forever grateful. We ate dinner at the lodging every night, and it was wonderful -- so much easier than driving out to find a restaurant at night. Overall, just a lovely stay, and the entire staff went out of their way to treat us well. That's something you don't often find these days."
