GGuest UserOur first time in Basel and we chose Schweizerhof after reading through the reviews. The proximity of the hotel to Basel SBB station is a plus point. Had a nice surprise at the room size n the design of the room. Enjoyed our hotel stay and would recommend this to other travellers too. Location is good with the tram n buses running in-front of the hotel making going around easier.
Would hope to come back in future after the hotel complete its upgrading.

Hardware service: The hotel is very new and the rooms are clean. Room service is fast!

ООльгаExcellent hotel, all at height ... The room is spacious according to Switzerland's standards. Excellent location. Good breakfast.Issued Basel Card: free transportation and 50% discount in museums, theatres and almost everything.In the room the delicious Swiss apples waited for us. On the recession water and fruit every day.

GGuest UserOur first visit to the lovely city of Basel and the hotel is well situated on Clarastrasse, which was just a short 10-minute tram ride from the Basel SBB main train station.
It is well connected to many parts of the city with the tram stop just a minute from the entrance.
There is a Coop supermarket and a nice Klara food court with a great atmosphere for meals on the same stretch.
The room was clean, bright and spacious for our family of 2 adults and a 8yo. We slept very well as there was no noise our room faced a residential courtyard.
Lastly, kudos to the warm reception we experienced at check-in and check-out.
Thank you for an overall lovely 2 nights at the Pullman. We will choose to stay here on our next trip to wonderful Basel.

DdscoinlyThe room was spacious and well-equipped. There's a self-service water dispenser in the hallway with free drinking water. Breakfast offered a good variety, and the hotel is conveniently located very close to the train station, within walking distance.

AAnna801Basel is very small, just a 15-minute walk from the city center. This hotel is located on the edge of the city center, making it especially convenient for walking and public transportation. There is a beautiful lady at the front desk, gentle and polite. The room size is probably okay in Europe. Although the facilities are not new, they are very clean. There are capsule coffee in the room and the toiletries are provided by L'Occitane. The hotel is across the road from the Rhine, and there is a street behind the hotel similar to the bustling weekend market.

GGuest UserThere is still some distance from basel sbb, about 8-10 minutes walking time, or two tram stops at the train station, which is much closer. Except that the location is not perfect, everything else is very satisfactory. I like the decoration style of the hotel. The rooms are also spacious. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the sanitary condition is also good. The breakfast choices are mainly bread, meat, scrambled eggs, dairy products, juice and coffee. The variety is enough for me.

FFoddyTravelsGreat hotel and position! The only downside was the bathroom did emit a smell. It wasn't overpowering, just not pleasant. It's okay when the bathroom door is shut but still there when you open it. It didn't bother me a lot but it may be something others find uncomfortable. Otherwise, a great hotel with friendly staff and very comfortable.
