Ibis Budget Basel City
"Nice budget option in an expensive city. Not far from the railway station."
Movenpick Hotel Basel
"Excellent stay at Mövenpick Basel! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful, explaining the city and providing a complimentary tram and bus day pass. The breakfast was also very good. Highly recommended!"
B&B Hotel Basel
"Had a wonderful stay at B&B HOTEL Basel! The hotel was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is convenient, with easy access to public transport and the city centre. The rooms were cozy and quiet, perfect for resting after a long day of travelling around Switzerland. We especially appreciated the cleanliness and the comfortable beds. Great value for money in Basel. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Basel!"
City Pop 2Night Basel - Self Check-IN
"Nice hotel. Clean and comfortable.. self checkin but all smooth. The staff will Whatapps for checkin details ."
Gaia Hotel Basel - the Sustainable 4 Star Hotel
"Very excellent location. Right opposite train station. We would specially highlight the cleaniness of this hotel. Every single details are taken care of . We also had the best breakfast in Gaia beautiful breakfast room. Must must book your rooms with breakfast . Highly recommeded Gaia Hotel to everyone."
Ibis Styles Basel City
"As expected. Typical Ibis. Nice room, clean and cozy. Good breakfast buffet. Uncomplicated CheckOut."
Basel Backpack
"Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great little bar/table area downstairs to relax in. I was surprised that I could choose a double bed in my female only dorm, that was a nice bonus. Not all beds were doubles though! Hostel is slightly out of town but easy to get to the tram and the Basel Card is fantastic as it gives you free public transport. Toilets are very clean and the showers look clean and also have locks which is great."
Hotel Euler Basel
"Great location however the baggage storage facility is ery expensive."
Hotel Schweizerhof Basel
"Let’s talk about the advantages first. The location is very good. It’s a five-minute walk from the train station. The windows are well insulated, but there are some drunkards singing outside the window in the middle of the night after opening the window, but there's nothing we can do about it since it's so close to the train station. Although it’s Switzerland🇨🇭. But Basel is more like Germany🇩🇪 The service is also good, there is luggage storage, and the Basel transportation card is offered as a gift Finally, let’s talk about the shortcomings. There is no minibar. Free minibar: There is no small refrigerator, only mineral water and bagged coffee are provided, and the minibar is not used! !"

Pullman Basel Europe
"Clean hotel, would definitely stay again"
Aparthotel Adagio Basel City
"I attended a conference in the Basel congress centre. This hotel is clean and provides all the basic facilities to travellers. I particularly appreciate the buffet style breakfast with plenty of choices esp fresh fruits and pastries. Self laundry costs 8 CHF (buy two tokens in receptions for washing and drying)."
Courtyard Basel
"Had a great stay at Courtyard by Marriott Basel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good. Overall, a pleasant experience and I would stay here again.😊"
Hotel Alexander
"It is very close to the conference center and there are many buses going here. There is a coop and many restaurants nearby. It was the peak time for conferences and I placed two reservations for a three-night stay. The staff was very considerate and made it three consecutive nights without having to check in and out repeatedly. The staff are very warm and friendly. I will choose here again next time I come to Basel."
Hotel City Inn Basel
"It was very clean. The location, amenities and service were really great."
Ibis Basel Bahnhof
"Near the train station. 3mins walk. Platform 20 has a ramp at the end that leads to the back of the hotel. Air conditioning was not really working and rooms were stuffy."
Central City Hotel Rochat
"Nice room, nice old building. Well located. Service a little too hard but efficient."
Hotel Wettstein
"great breakfast"
Grand Hotel les Trois Rois
"The Grand Hotel les Trois Roi is not just a place of lodging, it is an immersive experience. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted and treated with utmost respect, dignity, and professionalism (despite our haggard appearance from travel). The reception team was kind and very helpful, and concierge was wonderful. They assisted us in securing reservations for the (excellent) restaurant next door, and helped us map out a fantastic walking tour of the area, highlighting sites that fit our interests. The hotel itself is stunning; it is a living piece of history. Our room, with a balcony overlooking the Rhine was outstanding in every way. We so greatly appreciated the plates of treats that welcomed us, and enjoyed the complimentary fully stocked minibar. The heated towel rack and heated bathroom floor were decadent additions to an already amazing space. The bed was comfortable and the room very quiet. Breakfast was a delight - so many delicious and visually appealing choices! Definitely try the sweets table - chocolate coated banana bread is scrumptious, and the cookies - yes, cookies for breakfast - were such a treat. Our only regret was that our stay was just one night. Without question, we need to return to Basel and enjoy the Grand Hotel les Trois Rois for a much longer time. Thanks to the entire staff for an outstanding experience!"
The Passage - Urban & Lifestyle Hotel
"Stayed here for a week. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location, just a walk away to tram and bus station. The best thing was, International guests got Basel Card for free transportation within the city. Will comeback and stay at this hotel again if I i hv the opportunity."
Art House Basel - Member of Design Hotels
"The room itself is OK, and the location is OK. But because there is no air conditioning, it is still a bit stuffy at night. You can borrow an electric fan from the front desk, a Dyson, but there is no remote control, and it is very noisy at the maximum wind speed. Before booking, I saw that toothbrushes were provided, but they were not. The key point is that when I was looking for toothbrushes, I found two pairs of earplugs! I was very curious why the hotel provided this, and I found it at night. It was so noisy. The upstairs is the hotel's bar and breakfast restaurant. It was either the sound of moving tables and chairs or playing music. What's more terrible is that the bars in the two streets in front and behind the hotel are open, all kinds of noises, music, screaming, yelling... It didn't end at 4:30 in the morning. It was crazy. Except for children, adults could still fall asleep. Taking sleeping pills didn't work. I don't recommend this hotel at all."
HYPERION Basel
"Great view across city, extensive breakfast and very modern room with mini bar included."
Hotel Märthof Basel
"It was one of the best hotels I've ever been. I recommend it to everyone. If I go back to Basel, I would definitely choose only this hotel."
Royal Hotel - Urban Living
"Self check-in, no customer service at night. I chose it for convenience on a business trip. Overall, it was average, nothing special."
Krafft Basel
"The hotel is close to the river, the room window is close to the city street, and it is a bit noisy at night. But the overall environment of the hotel is very exquisite and comfortable, the service is very thoughtful, the luggage stored in advance has been helped to put into the room when the afternoon check in. Breakfast is delicious, and there is free tea and coffee on each floor. The style of old European boutique hotel."
Basel Marriott Hotel
"Good service"
