Vvv723The hotel's location is just so-so, with nothing much around. There's a coffee shop in the lobby though. Not sure if it was intentional, but they put us in a room at the very end of the 3rd floor, even though there were many floors and the hotel wasn't very full that day. The room itself didn't have a main overhead light, just a few small table lamps and reading lights, which made it super dark at night! There was also a lot of noise from modified car exhaust pipes late at night. Honestly, if you have astigmatism or are a light sleeper, you might want to think twice about staying here!!!

TTobeThe hotel facilities are brand new and security is excellent. There's a bean sprout chicken restaurant right next door that I highly recommend! The owner speaks Cantonese and a little Mandarin. Be sure to order the bean sprout chicken and the meatball soup.

SSANTHANALETCHUMY MANIAMI love to stay in this property as the priority host was prompt in replies, maintained cleanliness of the property. The check in and check out process was easier. Ample of parking. Indoor swimming pool was amazing. I highly recommend this unit to everyone. I will rebook this unit as well.

Beautiful, green, and very tranquil hotel. The rooms are slightly dated but come with great hill views. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and the crispy roti and tea were fantastic. The GM, Ben, was incredibly welcoming and took the time to chat with us. Highly recommend as a stopover

JJ..CThis was my second stay here, and I still love the spacious room. Everything was perfect overall. 🤩
This time, we were a little unlucky because the room suddenly had a blackout in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. The next morning, after we called the service counter, the staff came to check and found that an electrical wire had burned out.
They kindly offered to let us change rooms several times, but since we were checking out soon, it was fine for us to stay. The staff also apologized sincerely during check-out.
Despite this small issue, I would definitely stay here again because the location is excellent, very close to tourist attractions and the highway.👍

RRay ToshiroEven though the hotel has been established for decades, the rooms are still fresh and clean. I read not so good reviews and many occasions I was reluctant to book. This time around I decided to give it a try and was amazingly surprised how wonderful it turned out to be. I will definitely comeback again and stay at Hotel Excelsior. Receptionist at the front desk was helpful. I purposely took photos of the room when I entered to show others what a difference it made my day. Ignore the other reviewers and note many be the management took notice and has improved since then ☺️

GGuest UserI ordered a unit with 3 room with the topic of muji,the second me and my family open the door,a strong scent of furniture rush into my lungs,i instantly contact the owner team,wanted to have a appropriate solutions,but they dinnt reply much,keep on asking us to wait for them to check stuff,meanwhile,i contacted agent of trip.com,telling her about the situations,the agent reach out to the owner team too,but dinnt even get a reply from them,as the unit i booked was a no-refund unit,trip.com couldnt do anything about it,just as i thought im going to die from lung cancer,luckily,the owner team finally replied with solution about changing another unit for us,which we found was acceptable compared to the previous one,the facilities of the unit was pretty good overall,its just that the unit of topic Muji was unbelievable,aircon was nice,everything was nice when the toxic odour was gone

GGuest UserThe stay was good except that the location is next to the highway and we could not sleep well due to the loud traffic noise. Suggest to install noise cancellation windows for all the room. Else the stay will not be pleasant and will affect your business.
