"Reposer cabin cottage is a winter/summer house. There is a small natural stream right at the back, which is great. The cabin is a bit worn but it still has all it takes to provide a great accommodation. Location wise, you need a car in hakuba to move around anyway so the distance to anything is not to concern. Its a 5 min drive to everything. The service is hugely great. The staff is very helpful. We havent been to hakuba before so we didnt plan for a car rent. The staff managed all things for us and even give a ride to iwatake. Overall, this is a great choice."

"I stayed in early October, and the hotel was sparsely populated. The staff was incredibly friendly, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the onsen was excellent, with a window overlooking a small garden. The room was traditionally decorated, had everything you needed, and the futon was very comfortable. I was very happy with everything! If I come back to Huckabee, I'll definitely stay here!"

"My family of three, including my three-year-old, booked two nights in early November. The gas stove was convenient, allowing us to cook our own meals. We drove there, making it relatively easy to move around. However, the worst part was the bedding and mattress. The bedding was bundled with a blanket, but it was incredibly uncomfortable. After one night, we drove five hours straight home the following evening, wasting a night's payment. We figured we'd make do with the cheap price, but there was practically no comfortable sleep."

"Overall, our stay was enjoyable, and the chalet matched the photos. However, I’d rate it 3.5 stars due to poor value for the peak-season price. Check-in instructions were unclear, leaving us to search for our villa in the cold. There were no manuals for the heater, boiler, or washer, and the boiler kept turning off unexpectedly. The concierge was attentive, but these issues dampened the experience. These manuals / improvements / attention to detail should be easy fixes for the management company, but a major oversight for a company that prides itself on hospitality."
