"I stayed in early October, and the hotel was sparsely populated. The staff was incredibly friendly, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the onsen was excellent, with a window overlooking a small garden. The room was traditionally decorated, had everything you needed, and the futon was very comfortable. I was very happy with everything! If I come back to Huckabee, I'll definitely stay here!"

"Overall, our stay was enjoyable, and the chalet matched the photos. However, I’d rate it 3.5 stars due to poor value for the peak-season price. Check-in instructions were unclear, leaving us to search for our villa in the cold. There were no manuals for the heater, boiler, or washer, and the boiler kept turning off unexpectedly. The concierge was attentive, but these issues dampened the experience. These manuals / improvements / attention to detail should be easy fixes for the management company, but a major oversight for a company that prides itself on hospitality."

It's the best apartments we've stayed in Japan after extensive travels across the country. Will be back and highly recommended!"

"We had an awesome stay. We were in #3. We love our room! The room upstairs was spacious for a family of 4. Love the extra complimentary services provided during the day and night- free wine, free sake, free food tasting after 9pm. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The only thing is taxi is limited in Hakuba. Ask the reception staff to pre-book taxi if needed. Snow shuttle buses depart and drop off right at the accomodation. Not much food options around but you can purchase food in town."

"To flee ! The wifi didn't work and it was impossible to contact the owner. The railway voice is right outside the window, we can hear all the trains going by! The bedding is catastrophic! This apartment should cost 3 times less compared to the surrounding offer."

"Overall experience was good, room was clean and service was great! Just the private toilet kinda misleading as we were thought our room has bathroom as well. It was public bathroom and you have to go down for shower. Room at the upstairs which is not so convenience for us."
