"The hotel is located next to the highway, within walking distance of the beach. There are also several restaurants nearby, and surprisingly, there's a taanto shop where you can buy local specialties. You absolutely must check out the glittering gold toilet and take a picture of the golden toilet."

The misleading picture is a location over 1h drive away from the hotel! This is false advertising! The hotel itself is located in a ski station, which means the whole area was empty and dreadful in this early November. The dinner we paid for in advanced was absolutely pitiful, a disgrace for Japanese hospitality - even a poor student dormitory would produce a better meal! A burger patty, two small chicken wings, and a few other dishes were placed on our table for us to microwave ourselves. The (also charged) breakfast was only marginally better…"
