Location is honestly not bad, not great. I thought city meant the old city but its located somewhat to the east, so you'll probably need the public transport ticket. 1 toilet for 6 people is kind of insufficient as well

Overall It's good for my reserved single room with private bathroom. It clean and comfortable. Some problems are relatively insufficient staffs there. And there are few shops Or restaurants very nearby.

Check in was very slow. Two girls there at reception. One was slow doing paper work, the other one wasn't doing reception work. Instead just sat there and occasionally people asked her some questions. Room is clean and basic. Location superb.

good location around 10min walk from central station, but i had to wait for half an hour for the check in. it was a bit noisy at night as my room was on the second floor. the toilet was small but acceptable.

The location is great near the city center

there was a locker room like the one in train station which cost around 3-5€ (i forgot), i didnt get bed cover at first, the blanket was not thick enough in winter season, you can not sit straight on the bed, electrical wall socket was broken

It is an older branch of A&O. Some of the bedside sockets cannot be plugged in. The big lights and the elevator are not working. The hair dryer is very weak, but the roommate is very nice and makes up for it. The location is about 5 minutes from the bus stop and quite far from the subway station. It takes about 10 minutes, but the price is cheap so it’s acceptable ~ The room is very warm in winter, but it may be super hot in summer 😂

I have stayed in A&O in various places in Germany many times. They are clean and sanitary, and the service is good. The only suggestion is that the front desk must indicate the bed number when checking in. It was late at night, and I had to go to the front desk to confirm after arriving in the room. It was really tiring! As a result, my bed was slept in by someone else, and the instructions did not specify the bed number, which could easily cause confusion and misunderstanding

I stayed in a mixed dorm as a single woman and had a comfortable night's sleep.

I feel that it is very close to the city center, but the price is a bit expensive and I seem to meet all kinds of people. The bed has no curtains, so compared to other youth hostels, I may not choose this one as my first stay next time. 1☝️Choose

Be careful of other people staying in the hotel. My Philips multi-country universal charger and Xiaomi power bank were stolen. I didn’t expect anyone to see this.
