"Booked the room spontaneously as I was stuck in Hamm overnight, the amenities were lacking and thankfully the local drugstore was still open for me to get a few things. Apart from that I enjoyed the staffless check out, just leave before 12 and you are good."

"The room was decent, but its main advantage was its proximity to the train station, within walking distance. There were restaurants nearby, but getting a taxi could be difficult. The breakfast was quite substantial, with warm bread with cheese or honey, both of which were good."

"The hotel takes some getting used to, as there's practically no staff. Check-in is via a machine that gave me the wrong key. The result: a long wait in the musty hallway. The hotel is clearly housing migrants facing the noisy street. This led to a noise level that made a midday nap impossible. It was quieter at night. My bedsheet had stains I couldn't identify. The room door is very basic and offers no soundproofing. In short: I was just glad to have survived. On the plus side: breakfast in the restaurant."
