Sheraton Hong Kong Tung Chung Hotel

I love how all the amenities were very much complete. Nothing’s left out including the iron(the old fashioned one)for clothes, it’s already inside the room. I was just surprised how updated the coffee machine was for somebody who loves coffee, they have Nespresso for the win. Staff were very hospitable from FO, to housekeepers to pool/gym staffs. I also enjoyed their pool on this hot summer day.

It was a terrible stay for me. Their front desk staff was not able to communicate and address guest needs properly. On the fourth night of my stay, I returned to my room to find no water in the mini bar. I went to the front desk to ask for two bottles of water. They said there was water in my room. I explained that there was no water in my mini bar, which was why I came to the front desk. However, the front desk staff insisted that there was water in my room. So I went back to my room to check the mini bar, but there was still no water. I took a photo and returned to the front desk to show them that there was no water. However, the front desk staff continued to ignore my request. They kept repeating that there was no free water in my room. I also explained that I was not asking for free water, but wanted to know if there was water available. After discussing it with them, they said they had sent water to my room. So I returned to my room again, but unfortunately, there was still no drinking water in the room. I went back to the front desk to tell them that there was still no water in the room. They repeated that there was no free water. I was really tired and thirsty at the time. I told them that I didn't care whether the water was free or paid for, I just wanted to buy water. Is there any water available in the hotel? They still said that water is not free. Finally, I gave up trying to communicate with the front desk and left the hotel to buy water. This left a completely negative impression: an uncommunicative front desk and a hotel without bottled water. After a busy day at work, I returned to my room exhausted and without water. It was truly unexpected that a five star hotel with so many business travelers would have such unpleasant service.

Made a wise decision to book Sheraton based on the location near to the airport and shopping at Citygate outlets. You can do your last minute shopping at Citygate, head back to hotel, repack and get ready to leave for the airport. Hassle free! The staff were polite and graciously allowed me to extend the check out time to 1pm. The pkg with dimsum at the renowned Yue is very much worth it. Portion is good enough for one normal eater, frankly. Might not be enough for 2 big eaters. :) Do note dimsum is only available for Lunch and not dinner. The check in staff gave me the wrong info when I enquired if they are open for dinner for me to utilise the dim sum deal though. Small issue since I can have it after I checked out. The international breakfast spread was great. Oh the great thing is you can order food delivery via fxxdpxxda and have them sent to the concierge so you don't need to step out to get food! Definitely well recommended!!

Good location near outlet shopping mall and airport. Many restaurants downstairs. And 7-11 is nearby.

The front desk staff is friendly and professional, and housekeepers helpfully. The room is clean, and the overall hotel service is intimate and comfortable. 👍👍👍💯

Nice sea view room facing airport, good restaurants located inside hotel like Chinese “Yue” & “Sunset grill” After communicating with reservation office of celebration of birthday, surprisingly they have prepared a small pc. of birthday cake and  with very sharp and warm birthday decorations in room, it did give us surprise when stepping in. I would like to send appreciation to the reservation office & front desk arrangement
