The second time I come to Hong Kong. The service I experienced at E hotel is more than expected - very nice environment, heart warming welcome from reception staff all the time every time come back to the hotel, a sense of safety(floor press button with room card), free water dispenser and especially the smart use of switchable window of the bathroom👍. Affordable accommodation with very good time at E hotel, definitely would choose here again when I visit HK. Ps, Sham Shui Po has plenty of tasty food close by.

Located in a nice, quiet area with a classic HK café right around the corner on Castle Peak. Hotel staff are friendly and polite, and the rooms are a bit nicer than others at the same price point. Did you know that HK has a ballet company? They’re quite good, and it’s not hard to get to the cultural center from YX via the Tsuen Wan line, and pretty much everything really.

“Perfect Stay for a Solo Traveler!” I had a great experience staying at JST Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and just the right size for a solo traveler. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout my stay. The location is convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and public transport, which made getting around easy. I felt safe and well taken care of the entire time. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other solo travelers looking for a peaceful and convenient place to stay!

The guesthouse is well-equipped, and the room was surprisingly spacious. The surrounding area is also excellent – quiet and very convenient for amenities. Just a short walk downhill and around the corner from the guesthouse, you'll find a *cha chaan teng* for meals. The staff were all soft-spoken and very polite.

Overall, very good. I booked a pre-sale deal through Ctrip for just over 590. There was an additional 100 HKD surcharge for checking in on a Friday. This year, the Hong Kong government introduced a 3% tax, which amounted to over 18 HKD. So, the total came to around 700 HKD. We received a complimentary upgrade to a sea-view room with a 1.3-meter bed. Considering Hong Kong hotel prices, this offered excellent value for money. In terms of location, it's very close to Nam Cheong MTR station, just a 5-minute walk from Exit B. It's only one MTR stop away from West Kowloon. To get to Disneyland, you only need to make one transfer, and it's a total of three stops. The next day, we also visited the Science Museum near Hung Hom station, which was also a direct few stops on the same line. The room was small but incredibly well-equipped. As my daughter put it, 'It's small but cute!' My 7-year-old daughter and I shared a bed, and it was sufficient for us, but for a family of three, this room type wouldn't accommodate everyone comfortably. It seemed possible to cook, as the room had an oven-like appliance, and there appeared to be a communal kitchen too. Since we only stayed for one night, we didn't get to explore all the hotel's facilities. The room was clean, and the bedding was quite comfortable. It would be even better to visit in the summer, as there's also an infinity pool available for use. The service was also excellent. The front desk staff were all very welcoming and enthusiastic. We would definitely consider staying here again!

This hostel, which is labeled ”cohabitation space”, is actually a youth hostel. The room is super small and there is basically no space to move around. You have to flash left and right to avoid the bathroom when you put the suitcase. The shower room is very narrow. The worst thing is that there is no hot water the night before check-out, there is no phone in the room to inform the front desk, and there is no phone to contact the staff on duty on the Internet. Unless ”you” are willing to go to the first floor to find security guards in this case. Really, if you have something, ask for blessings, there is no way to ask for help. Only hard scalp with cold water shower. The whole hostel has a faint smell, like the smell of a ditch... The only advantage is the location.

Where to Stay in Hong Kong

  • Tsim Sha Tsui: Tsim Sha Tsui, located at the southern tip of the Kowloon Peninsula in Hong Kong, is one of the most representative and bustling areas in the city. It boasts a rich historical background and a modern appearance, and is renowned for its busy commercial district and multicultural characteristics. It features luxury shopping centers, internationally renowned hotels and high-rise buildings. At the same time, it retains historical traces, with many ancient buildings and museums. Showcase Hong Kong's culture and history. And don't forget to take a stroll along the Victoria Harbour at night and enjoy the breathtaking night view of Harbour City!
  • Sham Shui Po: Neon-lit electronics graveyards hide 80HKD(≈15.6 AUD) coffin hostel beds above secret hipster cafes. Steps from the cyberpunk Apliu Street flea market (protip: hunt for retro cameras at 7am before tech geeks swarm). Hong Kong’s Khao San Road—backpackers slurp $18 fishball noodles under dystopian signage, but post-11pm, it morphs into a Blade Runner set.
  • Central & Lan Kwai Fong: By day, finance bros sprint through IFC Mall; by night, Champagne soaks historic cobblestones. Gay bars hide behind Hollywood Road graffiti, with designer hotels (1200−3000+HKD≈235-587 AUD) along the Mid-Levels Escalator. Live for 3am chilli crab with baijiu shots? This is your neon-drenched playground—but avoid NYE: LKF becomes a champagne-supernova warzone where stilettos jam in storm drains.
