We just spent a lovely weekend at this hotel and overall, we were very impressed. It's a fantastic choice for a modern and convenient getaway. First, the positives, which are numerous: Stylish & Modern: The design is absolutely beautiful. The lobby and rooms are decorated with a clean, contemporary aesthetic that feels both luxurious and welcoming. Unbeatable Location: The location is perfect. It's just a short walk from the main public transportation hub, making it incredibly easy to get around without a car. We loved being steps away from great restaurants and cafes. The biggest bonus was the immediate access to different water sports—being able to just walk out and go kayaking was a highlight. Top-Notch Facilities: Everything feels brand new. The gym was well-equipped, the common areas were spotless, and we really enjoyed the pool area. Excellent Staff: Every staff member we interacted with, from check-in to housekeeping, was exceptionally polite, professional, and helpful. They really made us feel well taken care of. There were, however, two noticeable issues that held us back from a 5-star rating: Poor WiFi: The WiFi was consistently slow throughout our stay. It was fine for checking emails but struggled with anything more data-heavy, like streaming or uploading videos. Faulty In-Room TV: The LCD TV panel in our room was not working properly. The right side of the screen was noticeably dark, which made watching anything quite frustrating. Overall, we had a wonderful time. The hotel's strengths in design, location, and service far outweigh the technological drawbacks. We would definitely consider staying here again,

This is already my third stay here this year, and it's definitely the top choice hotel if you're visiting HKUST. Transportation is incredibly convenient; Tseung Kwan O MTR station connects to other lines, providing quick access to various parts of the city. For HKUST, simply turn right a few steps out of the hotel and catch the 792M double-decker bus, which stops at HKUST on its way to Sai Kung. Alternatively, take the MTR one stop to Hang Hau, then exit and turn left to catch mini-bus 11M, which is extremely quick. A large shopping mall is directly downstairs, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel's shuttle bus is very useful, especially for getting to the city center. The nearby Tseung Kwan O Waterfront Park is great for a stroll, and you can even take a ferry from there to Sai Wan Ho.

Great location, close to the MTR station and a big shopping mall with many restaurants is just downstairs. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The carpet in the room is a little dirty and the room is not dusted very well. And the furnitures are a little worn out. Bathroom small but okay. The check-in area is a small room and has no furnitures for you to sit down. The main receiption hall next door is packed with vending machines, not a nice area to receive any friends or family, making it look like a cheaper hotel than the amount of money they charge for.

It was simply amazing, the owner was very hospitable, my hostel credentials were not ready yet and he didn't ask for too much. The trees in the yard are so beautiful, it was a perfect day

The hotel room has very nice sea view and quite spacious. The facilities in the room are rather basic and the room condition has deteriorated quite a lot since my last visit a few years ago when it was new. The breakfast is ok but the beverage is a bit not up to my expectation ( all juices, milk, coffee and tea are self service and coffee is not hot enough). The swimming pool has nice view but a bit cold.

Where to Stay in Hong Kong

  • Tsim Sha Tsui: Tsim Sha Tsui, located at the southern tip of the Kowloon Peninsula in Hong Kong, is one of the most representative and bustling areas in the city. It boasts a rich historical background and a modern appearance, and is renowned for its busy commercial district and multicultural characteristics. It features luxury shopping centers, internationally renowned hotels and high-rise buildings. At the same time, it retains historical traces, with many ancient buildings and museums. Showcase Hong Kong's culture and history. And don't forget to take a stroll along the Victoria Harbour at night and enjoy the breathtaking night view of Harbour City!
  • Sham Shui Po: Neon-lit electronics graveyards hide 80HKD(≈15.6 AUD) coffin hostel beds above secret hipster cafes. Steps from the cyberpunk Apliu Street flea market (protip: hunt for retro cameras at 7am before tech geeks swarm). Hong Kong’s Khao San Road—backpackers slurp $18 fishball noodles under dystopian signage, but post-11pm, it morphs into a Blade Runner set.
  • Central & Lan Kwai Fong: By day, finance bros sprint through IFC Mall; by night, Champagne soaks historic cobblestones. Gay bars hide behind Hollywood Road graffiti, with designer hotels (1200−3000+HKD≈235-587 AUD) along the Mid-Levels Escalator. Live for 3am chilli crab with baijiu shots? This is your neon-drenched playground—but avoid NYE: LKF becomes a champagne-supernova warzone where stilettos jam in storm drains.
