Shimoina District Hot Springs Hotels

We spent two nights here and everything was flawless! The service and amenities were top-notch, and every meal—from dinner to breakfast—was carefully curated and delicious. Truly one of the best luxury onsen hotels in all of Japan

I stayed at Qingfengyuan again this year. I feel very good. The service is － flow. I especially thank Oriyama, Makino, Yo and Itsubo san for arranging transportation, check-in, tourism and food for many of us. Thank you very much! Extremely recommended!

Far from train station. Difficult to get to by public transport but that is the beauty of it. We got a transfer with the hotel (additional charges). Had to get a friend to translate emails into japanese to send to the hotel. All the staff we encountered in Nov 2018 were polite and welcoming but do not speak english at all. The Google translation app is very useful to get around the language barrier. Small, quiet and beautiful place! Quite literately surrounded by mountains.
