"The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious side dishes, bread, pound cake, cookies, fruit, yogurt, etc. It was served in a relaxed restaurant setting, and the staff were incredibly kind and wonderful. Dinner was a multi-course kaiseki meal with many dishes and generous portions. Even though we stayed for multiple nights, the menu wasn't the same, and it was also delicious and very satisfying. The room was a beautiful Japanese-style room with a great view, and the parking lot was right next door – absolutely perfect. We stayed as a family, and I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Iga by car!"

"We enjoyed a fantastic two-night stay at Nipponia Hotel Iga. The room’s old historic style initially surprised us, yet it was spacious, cosy and spotlessly clean with wonderfully soft beds. The female staff were courteous and helpful, and daily breakfast offered nice variety. The well-kept garden creates a serene atmosphere. A few minor downsides: local dining and sightseeing options are scarce, and roadside rooms (401) may bring traffic noise to light sleepers. Having stayed at hotels worldwide, this place left a deep impression on us."

"This time, I stayed overnight on the way to visit a grave in the mountains of Osaka. I worked part-time in the morning and left in the afternoon, had a late lunch at a grated yam restaurant in Yokkaichi, then headed to the inn. I took a short break, looked for a bath with a sauna that my son likes, and went there again, then returned to the inn and walked to eat dinner. The izakaya was closed on Saturday night due to the weather, so we went to a ramen restaurant instead. Staying overnight made it easy to get to and from work, which was good for my old body."
