"From booking to checking out, the customer service was amazing. We stayed one night in an ocean view cottage during our two day ride of the Shiminami Kaido. It was fabulous and so comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast included and the food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We also booked the two day supported cycling package through Wakka. The whole process from picking up the electric bikes at Onomichi station and dropping them back at Imibari station was easy and well communicated and coordinated. We even had a complimentary visit to a local onsen. If you are wanting to ride the Shiminami Kaido, I would 100% recommend going through Wakka for accommodation and bike hire. Book early!"

"I initially thought this place was too remote and difficult to reach by public transportation, so I took a taxi and spent a little money, which made me want to give it a bad review. But the moment I saw the hotel facilities and the scenery, everything else disappeared. On a clear day, the rooms and restaurant offer absolutely stunning views! The sunsets and sunrises are breathtaking. The food is superb; definitely choose a one-night stay with two or three meals a day. Every meal was incredibly filling, and the food was delicious. The rooms are spacious and well-designed. The only downside is the lack of a natural hot spring; otherwise, I would definitely choose to stay here for three days straight."

"I booked this hotel for my two sons who are travelling together, after their cycle ride from Onomichi. This was what they said: Wonderful facilities and a great location for those who are cycling the Shimanami Kaido. The hosts were incredibly charming and helpful and even drove us to the nearby sushi restaurant (highly recommend) and organised a lift back. Highly recommended for those who are in the area. "Very impressive arranegment and hospitality. I had a cycling accident in Seto inland sea and requested a delay checkin. The hotel texted me to offer assistance. Upon knowing my injury, the hotel upgraded me to a big private room for which i did not have to walk upstairs to my room and there was a private bath room inside. When i arrived at late night, all food were well prepared on table whilst fresh sushi were stored in the fridge. The hotel is a traditional Japanese hostel with warm hospitality and nice massage facilities. Surely will pick it when travel there again."
