"The hotel's location is super convenient, really close to the Mountain Resort – just a few minutes' walk. The Erxianju Night Market is right downstairs too. It's clean, the service is friendly and enthusiastic, and breakfast offers a great variety. The only minor downside is that the window is a bit small, but everything else is perfect."

"Staying at Chengde Qiwanglou Hotel truly felt like a home away from home. First off, it's not a towering high-rise, which immediately gives it a cozy, homely vibe. Plus, the hotel doesn't cater to a massive number of guests, only about a hundred or so at most, meaning they can offer a more personalized and attentive service, or as I'd put it, 'meticulous care.' This included thoughtful touches like having snacks, candies, and refreshing drinks available at the entrance, and sewing kits and other small emergency items in the hallways of each building. From the moment you step in, everyone you encounter at this hotel actively engages with guests, listening carefully to their suggestions and needs. This level of personalized interaction is something I haven't experienced in hotels in recent years, and it's truly commendable. Guests who've stayed even just one day are greeted by the hotel's cat rubbing against their legs as soon as they walk in – it's incredibly heartwarming! The restaurant staff were all very dedicated, helping guests choose dishes and ensuring nothing went to waste, which was lovely. When they heard we enjoyed millet porridge, they even sold us some to take back to Beijing! One staff member, Zhi, proactively offered to buy us tofu (from Zhang Yu), which was a huge convenience. Mr. Yu Changhong (Xiao Yu) provides exceptional service, treating every guest like family, and truly fosters that 'home away from home' feeling. I do have a small suggestion: it would be great if the hotel could keep two electronic blood pressure monitors and phone charging cables on hand. When guests book a room, especially if they are elderly, it could be noted that a blood pressure monitor can be provided in their room, saving them the hassle of bringing their own. Having charging cables readily available would also alleviate any worries about charging phones."

"My child attends high school in Chengde, and whenever there's a monthly break, we always stay at this hotel. What I appreciate most is the self-service laundry room, which is great for washing my child's clothes. The front desk staff are also happy to help with laundry, and their service is incredibly warm and enthusiastic – definitely five stars. The hotel has its own restaurant, making dining very convenient, and the food tastes great. The surrounding environment is superb, very quiet, and the rooms have excellent soundproofing, which is perfect for my child to study. The room's cleanliness is impeccable, and the bed is very comfortable with just the right firmness. My child wasn't up for breakfast, so I got some for them – it was quite abundant, with freshly made noodles and a variety of drinks. Very comprehensive! Before checking out, the front desk even gave us two bottles of water. Overall, the environment, cleanliness, and service are all outstanding. See you next month!"

"I booked this hotel for my family, and I have to say, the front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. The room was very clean, and the hotel's location is super convenient, right in the city center. It's really easy to get to all the attractions; you can even walk to the Mountain Resort. It offers excellent value for money! We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Chengde. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Chengde! Thumbs up!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the Summer Resort, which is very convenient, and there are many dining options nearby. Although it's in a bustling area, the hotel rooms are surprisingly quiet, with modern and complete facilities. However, not all rooms have a mini-bar, so if you need one, it's best to carefully compare room types in advance. The service was incredibly thoughtful and warm; since it was my birthday, the hotel even thoughtfully sent a small cake and a fruit plate, and also gave a souvenir when I left. Many thanks! The surrounding environment of the hotel is a bit messy, but that's not the hotel's fault. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay."

"I stayed for two consecutive nights, and the hotel left a great overall impression. The lobby is spacious and bright, and everything is spotlessly clean. My room was immaculate, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom had no unpleasant odors – the attention to detail was excellent. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and quick, and the staff were friendly and responsive to requests, which made me feel very well taken care of. "Hotel is grand and new. Rooms are big and clean. Buffet breakfast has a lot of varieties and some menus change everyday. Staffs there are professional, nice and polite. Hotel also provide free entry couple to the spa wellness club adjoining to the hotel. We really enjoy the hotel services and facilities during the 4 days stay. We definitely will stay st this hotel if coming to chengde again. Strongly recommended!"

"Very satisfied. Because it was the off-season, the price was very cheap, making it excellent value for money. The hotel opened in October 2025. The lobby smelled wonderful as soon as you entered. The rooms were large and clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. I ran into the same female staff member several times; she was always smiling, which made me feel happy. The breakfast was also quite delicious. There is a large private parking lot, suitable for those driving. Just remember, the road outside the hotel is a one-way street, friends! There's a sign at the parking lot entrance, but I didn't notice and drove the wrong way (⩌ - ⩌ )."
