"I specifically chose the Sylvia Hotel for my Dragon Boat Festival holiday, and I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Weihai. The hotel's overall environment is peaceful and comfortable, completely free of noise. The biggest surprise was the guest room – it was very spacious, and all the in-room amenities were top-notch. The bathroom featured Kohler fixtures, which made for a particularly pleasant experience. The location is the biggest plus. Step out of the hotel and cross the road, and you're right on Hanle Street, where you'll find all sorts of Korean food, night market stalls, and everything you need for dining, entertainment, and shopping in one place. Considering the environment, facilities, and location, the value for money is exceptional. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Weihai!"

"I took my 80-year-old mother to Weihai to experience life in a coastal city, and Weihai left a wonderful impression on us. We stayed at the Blue Ocean Hotel, which has an amazing location. From our room, we had a panoramic view of the濱海公園 (Binhai Park) and the famous 'Big Photo Frame' sculpture. We just had to cross the road from the hotel to immerse ourselves in the beautiful scenery. Beyond the beautiful views, I especially want to thank Ms. Gong Xinru from the hotel. She was incredibly patient and meticulous in her work. When we checked out, we completely forgot three of my mother's favorite clothes in the room. From the moment we arrived at the station to head to our next destination, until several hours after we reached Jinan, Ms. Gong repeatedly called me because I wasn't answering my phone. She finally informed me about the clothes and promptly arranged for them to be couriered. By the time we arrived home, the package had already been successfully delivered. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Ms. Gong for her exceptional service."

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right in a building to the left of Weihai Station's exit. It's about a ten-minute walk to Hanlefang, and getting to Weihai Bus Station or Weihai Coach Terminal for the tourist bus lines is a breeze. This makes it super easy to visit attractions like Liugong Island, Maotou Mountain, Nashanghai, the Bluevessel, Chengshantou, and city sights such as Weihai Park and Huoju 8th Street. The staff, including the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, and security, were all incredibly warm, friendly, and professional. Full marks! "The room was spotless, and even the water glasses had paper covers. The bathroom exceeded my expectations, with a wet and dry separation, a heated towel rack, and a smart toilet seat. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and proactively offered recommendations for local restaurants when asked. Oh, and I think the housekeeping staff's service level surpasses that of five-star hotels. They left handwritten notes to communicate when guests were out and even provided local fig tea for us to sample. The breakfast selection was also very rich. This Baile Hotel seems to be a chain in Shandong; I've seen it all the way from Dongying, Penglai, and Yantai to Weihai. The only minor drawback is that the self-service laundry's dryer could be replaced with a more efficient model (like LG, Hilton Garden Inn's dryers are quite efficient). The hotel's location is also excellent; Huancui Pavilion is just about 1 km behind it, and from the higher floors, you can even see Liugong Island."

"It was my family member's birthday during our stay, and the service exceeded our expectations. Someone helped us with our luggage when we checked in and out, and fresh fruit was replenished daily. Our child even received a kite and beach toys. All the towels in the room were disinfected and sealed, which made us feel very at ease using them. I'd like to specially mention Hai Xia Jie and Jing Jing – their service attitude was superb. Hai Xia Jie decorated the room for the birthday, and the swan towel art was incredibly lifelike. Jing Jing thoughtfully sent us a guide to touring Weihai. The moment we checked out, we regretted not booking a few more days!"

"Service: From the hotel staff to the restaurant waitresses, everyone was lovely and very enthusiastic. Location: It's in a prime spot on Torch 8th Street, very convenient. You can directly access Torch 8th Street from the hotel's second and third floors by elevator, so no need to climb hills, and it's great for photos. Room: We booked a sea-facing room, but trees were blocking the view, so we could barely see the ocean directly, which was a bit disappointing. You definitely need to stay on a higher floor here! And those rooms are even cheaper than ours! Cleanliness: It was just before peak season, so it was getting a bit crowded, and the cleaning wasn't as thorough. There were wrappers from kids' snacks near the sofa and some unidentified hair on the bed. If you like lively places, this is good, but if you prefer quiet, I'd suggest the Golden Sands area; it's less crowded and the hotels there are better. This place feels more like a guesthouse than a proper hotel. Overall, the value for money isn't great, so I wouldn't highly recommend it."

The cleanliness was good, and I have to mention that the bed and pillows were super comfortable. What a pleasant surprise! The location is just perfect. Although Weihai is a tourist city, this was my first visit, and the experience was fantastic. If you're planning to visit Torch 8th Street, book this place without hesitation – it won't disappoint! **Cleanliness:** The room was clean and tidy, and all the bedding and amenities were neatly arranged. **Ambiance:** The hotel's atmosphere was elegant. Even though it's by the road, the soundproofing was excellent. **Facilities:** They offer free parking, a gym, and a laundry room, all free of charge. It was my first time using a hotel laundry room, and the staff's help was fantastic! **Service:** A huge thank you to all the front desk staff, restaurant servers, and cleaning ladies! Every single person deserves praise! First and foremost, their 'smile service' – though a short phrase – was consistently delivered. Every staff member greeted us with a warm hello, and even though it sometimes felt a little awkward, it truly made us feel welcome. Any communication with the front desk was met with prompt and effective responses. I've been dealing with gout recently and asked the front desk for ice for my pain – can you believe they gave me a huge bag? I almost felt embarrassed! I stayed for two days, iced for two days, and each time it was a massive bag. While ice packs aren't expensive, their service truly makes a great impression! Oh, and upon check-in, they gave our child a sand-digging set and a shell bracelet, which our kid absolutely loved! The toiletries they provide also smell wonderful – truly commendable! Of course, everyone has their own experience, and I can't dictate others' opinions, but my two-day stay here was truly excellent. Weihai's winds may be strong, but its people are incredibly warm and welcoming. Grateful for the encounter, and I wish the hotel continued success! Keep up the great work! ❤️

It’s incredibly close to both the bus station (coming from Yantai) and the high-speed railway station (coming from Qingdao). You can easily walk there in less than 10 minutes, which made traveling so hassle-free. Smooth Check-In & Lovely Room The property is inside a condo-style building that hosts multiple hotels. For this one, just head up to the 12th floor to check in. I arrived early around 11:00 AM, and they kindly let me check in right away! The room itself was very spacious, clean, and fully equipped with amenities. It has a nice window, and you can adjust the AC yourself, which was great. Great Amenities & Helpful Staff The staff were wonderful and super helpful via WeChat, making communication so easy. The location is also fantastic—it’s right near the Hanlefang Pedestrian Street. There are about 3 convenience stores right underneath the building and 3–4 restaurants nearby, so finding food or snacks is never an issue. Plus, getting to other tourist attractions by taxi from here is super convenient! Summary: Perfect location, great facilities, and wonderful service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Weihai! 💖

You can reach the No. 1 Beach and Torch 8th Street by crossing the campus. The most satisfying thing is the food and beverage in this hotel. The breakfast is super rich and delicious. By the way, the hotel also offers a set meal of sea intestines and rice. The price is acceptable and it is also very delicious. If I have the chance to go to Weihai, I will stay in this hotel again. When I left the hotel, I was given a gift bag of snacks that my children love to eat. It was full of sincerity.

GGuest UserI loved this resort! I highly recommend staying here for an amazing and relaxing time! The hotel is excellent! It was clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The front desk even had a fantastic girl that spoke perfect English. I spent most of my time soaking in the numerous hot springs, and there are at least 20 of them. There is also an indoor pool and hot tubs, and the outdoor pool will be open in May. There was this darling worker who kept the tea coming all the time. I'd ask for a lake view the next time so I could sit in the room and enjoy the view. The restaurant was excellent. The breakfast was also really well stocked. The only thing I would add is yougart. I can overstate what a wonderful experience this weekend was. If you are wanting to go into the city and see the sights, it is a little far, around 75RMB for a DiDi. And the spa, although it was really nice, was on the expensive side. I will be back! 10/10

The shower was large with strong water pressure, and the beds were very comfortable. The room was also nicely warm, which was especially important for us as we stayed during winter. The absolute highlight was the huge panoramic window with a stunning view of the wrecked ship. The hotel is located right on the beach, making it easy to be among the first to take photos of the ship in the morning. Having a bathtub placed in front of the panoramic window created a truly unique and atmospheric experience. The hotel also has a lovely café in the lobby with delicious food and drinks. While the breakfast was a bit simpler than a typical European buffet and required some waiting, it was still a nice addition to the stay. GGuest UserI asked for a non-smoking room, and I think that the hotel did give me one. But there is something everyone should know about who goes to China. Many still smoke indoors, even near kids. No room is truly free from smoke, I imagine. My room had a weak smell of smoke, and that scent was in all the places, from the lobby and lifts to the corridor. Still, the hotel staff were friendly and kind throughout my stay. Talking to them may be difficult if you do not speak Mandarin, as most staff know a little English, but a translation app helps a lot. They were all kind and happy to help. This was my first trip to Weihai, and the trip was for a friend’s wedding in one of the hotel’s halls. So, the spot was quite good for the event. If you go to Weihai just to see sites or other fun spots, you might want to look at other places to stay. That said, the hotel has a sweet sea view and parks by the sea, which is nice for a slow walk and some clean air.

The elevator goes to the B1 floor and you can walk to the lighthouse, Lily Bay, Children's Palace, Sakura Lake, Seaside Park, etc. along the beach. You can also take the bus No. 117 or No. 289 in front of the door. Bus No. 117 goes directly to Huaxing Bridge, a popular check-in place. 2. The hotel lobby is magnificent and unique, with the most distinctive various bear toys, which are posed differently every day. In addition, you can watch the sea from the public platform on each floor of the hotel, and there is a children's playground on each floor, which is suitable for walking babies. 3. The hotel has a variety of breakfasts, roasted tobacco potatoes, meat sauce buns, and fried dough sticks must be tasted, and different fruits are served every day.
