The privacy was excellent; you needed to use your room card to access the guest room areas, and it was perfectly quiet at night. Breakfast was exquisite and delicious. The hotel itself was beautiful. Beyond the white buildings and the large seaside pool, even the small details were lovely. Laundry was convenient, and I never had to wait to use the laundry room. Turning left outside the hotel, you can walk along the boardwalk to Torch Eight Street. Turning right, you can reach Xiaoshi Island to go clamming and watch the sunset. Both are only about a ten-minute walk away. There's also a wonderful seaside cafe right next door. The service was great. The butler greeted us, helped with luggage upon arrival and departure, proactively asked about our needs during our stay, inquired if we had enough snacks, and the welcome fruit was abundant. Every day, we'd encounter a dairy cat roaming around – it was clean, plump, and seemed to be living quite well. The downside is that the restaurant only serves breakfast, and the highly-rated dinner options are no longer available. Besides a newly opened restaurant right outside (with no reviews yet, and judging by the sign, it also seems to sell health products), the nearest restaurants are a ten-minute walk to Xiaoshi Island. This meant we had to go out twice a day, preventing us from simply relaxing at the hotel."

"Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and exceeded our expectations, especially for a quiet family vacation. However, Weihai is a very long and narrow city from north to south. I wouldn't recommend it if your main destination is Torch Eight Street, as it's very, very far. It's much more suitable if your main destination is Hanlefang. From the hotel, you can easily reach Jiulong Bay Park with a minimum fare, which is great for kids to go crabbing and many locals also come here to pick clams. **Facilities:** The bedding is very comfortable, especially for someone like me who is particular about pillows – I was very satisfied. Other facilities are standard for this price point, including a swimming pool and a gym. The shallow end of the pool is 1.2 meters deep, and the water temperature is 28-29 degrees Celsius. **Hygiene:** The room felt very new, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Those with young children can rest assured. **Environment:** The hotel's interior is excellent. On our first day, it was very windy, and our child played in the lobby on the ground floor for half the day without getting bored. The exterior is a relatively quiet residential area. **Service:** They offer pick-up and drop-off service from Weihai Station, and there were welcome fruits. If we had any issues, the butler was always reachable. Upon check-out, they thoughtfully gave us some fruits and snacks. The breakfast selection was rich and tasty, and baby utensils were available."

They provided face towels big enough for showering, haha. The shower pressure was strong, but the water from the sink splattered everywhere every time I used it. Each room also had an air purifier, which was a nice touch from the owner, probably installed during the pandemic. The location is great, right on Torch Eight Street, making it convenient for photoshoots. They also have free washing machines and dryers. However, I do want to point out one thing: don't you guys use toilet bowl cleaner for the stains inside the toilet? Soaking it would get rid of the grime."

"An unexpected check-in and dining experience that exceeded my expectations! I initially stayed two nights at the newly opened Crowne Plaza next door because of its InterContinental branding and big name, but it had so many issues! I switched to Chengtou Beichen for my third night because I had all my meals at Chengtou during my two nights at Crowne Plaza and found the service here to be very genuine and the food quality reliable. So, I made the decisive move to switch! The manager proactively upgraded my room type! They even thoughtfully provided an electric heater because of the cold weather! You can see the actual situation in the pictures! Manager Guo and Manager Zhang from the F&B department, Cinnie from the front desk, and all the other staff I encountered were all smiles. It was clear they had extensive hotel experience and understood customer needs (something the Crowne Plaza next door lacked). Plus, compared to Crowne Plaza's high prices for a good view, Chengtou shares a similar sea and lake view and isn't too far behind, and the price is much more favorable. The breakfast buffet also offers more variety and better taste than Crowne Plaza! And the service is better! The renovation smell at Crowne Plaza was too strong!"

"Pros: Very close to Weihai Station and right next to Hanlefang, which is convenient for evening strolls and dining. Being on a high floor also made it easy to find. The room came with a bathtub, the bedding was very comfortable, and the hygiene was generally good. Cons: The room didn't have USB charging ports. Although a charging cable was provided, it only offered 5 minutes of free charging, after which a fee was required. The lounge area is behind the security gate, requiring a room card to access, so once you check out, you're immediately disconnected from the hotel. There's no restroom in the lobby, and luggage storage is through self-service lockers, with a fee starting after six hours. It feels a bit less personal compared to typical hotels."

The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a short walk across the street to Weihai International Beach. Sitting on the sand in the evening, listening to music and drinking coffee, was incredibly relaxing. Torch Eight Street is only a few minutes' walk away, and there are various restaurants and small shops on both sides of the hotel. In the evening, there's also a night market selling small goods. "The hotel is quite close to Liugong Island, though you'll still need a taxi to get there. You can walk to Xingfumen (Happiness Gate) and enjoy a pleasant stroll along the seaside. The family room is spacious, with bunk beds and a slide, which the kids absolutely loved. The hotel also has a kids' play area and a children's stamp-collecting activity. My only minor complaint is that while the room's bar counter is quite large, there isn't a single stool or chair for it – the entire family room only has one lounge chair. The highlight, however, is the panoramic restaurant on the 20th floor. Aside from it being a bit warm (which seems to be a design flaw), both the ambiance and the food quality are excellent. "I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during my 3-day trip to Weihai. I initially thought it was a small, boutique guesthouse, but later found out it actually has 48 rooms. It's located in Weihai's Xiaoshidao Scenic Area, right next to Huoju Bajie, with a beach nearby. It's a quiet retreat despite being in a popular area. I usually have high standards for accommodation and rarely stay in guesthouses, but I was generally quite satisfied with this one. Let's talk about the pros: the facilities are complete, with free snacks and drinks, good Wi-Fi, and a TV that supports screen mirroring. The bedding is comfortable, and the toiletries are the popular Anaya brand, which has a very soothing scent. The shower pressure is excellent, and the guesthouse is very quiet at night. The environment is absolutely beautiful, and the service is also great. They actively greet guests and help with luggage, and even drive you to the parking lot after check-out. If you have any issues, you can contact the butler via WeChat, and they respond promptly and are very accommodating. Now for the cons: the guesthouse's location is a double-edged sword. Getting in and out by car can be quite congested. There are hardly any good restaurants near the surrounding attractions, so you'll need to drive a few kilometers for meals. Breakfast can get crowded and a bit chaotic. The hotel's entertainment facilities are quite limited, with only a small pool suitable for children and a coffee bar. Overall, I was still very satisfied and would recommend it."
