"Here’s a balanced review that highlights both the good location and the problems without sounding overly harsh: Good location, but room comfort and laundry facilities need improvement The hotel is in a very convenient location, directly opposite WEGO Shopping Mall, so it’s easy to find food, shopping and other amenities nearby. One of the highlights of our stay was the sea view, and we were able to watch a beautiful sunrise from the room. Unfortunately, the room itself was not very comfortable. The air-conditioning was not working well, which made the room feel quite warm and stuffy. We informed the hotel, and the staff responded by providing us with an additional fan. I appreciate their effort and the service was generally good, but for a hotel of this standard, the air-conditioning should be properly maintained. Another issue was the laundry area. There were simply not enough machines for the number of guests, and almost every time we went there, people were queuing and waiting to use them. This was quite inconvenient. Overall, the hotel has a good location, helpful staff and a nice sea view, especially for watching the sunrise. However, the air-conditioning and laundry facilities definitely need improvement. I would have enjoyed the stay much more if the room had been cooler and more comfortable."

I wouldn't recommend it if your main destination is Torch Eight Street, as it's very, very far. It's much more suitable if your main destination is Hanlefang. From the hotel, you can easily reach Jiulong Bay Park with a minimum fare, which is great for kids to go crabbing and many locals also come here to pick clams. **Facilities:** The bedding is very comfortable, especially for someone like me who is particular about pillows – I was very satisfied. Other facilities are standard for this price point, including a swimming pool and a gym. The shallow end of the pool is 1.2 meters deep, and the water temperature is 28-29 degrees Celsius. **Hygiene:** The room felt very new, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Those with young children can rest assured. **Environment:** The hotel's interior is excellent. On our first day, it was very windy, and our child played in the lobby on the ground floor for half the day without getting bored. The exterior is a relatively quiet residential area. **Service:** They offer pick-up and drop-off service from Weihai Station, and there were welcome fruits. If we had any issues, the butler was always reachable. Upon check-out, they thoughtfully gave us some fruits and snacks. The breakfast selection was rich and tasty, and baby utensils were available."

The front desk service was warm and efficient; I avoided the crowds during the National Day holiday, so it wasn't noisy at all. The room was exquisitely designed, the bedding was very comfortable, and the bathroom had a well-designed separate shower and toilet. I especially praised the breakfast; the buffet was no longer available, so they switched to à la carte, which had a wide selection and suited my taste. The location near Na Xiang Hai makes it very convenient to drive to attractions. A unique and tasteful hotel, I would definitely choose to stay here again!"

The hotel is also not far from Xiaoyao Bay Beach, which was clean and not too crowded, making it a perfect spot for a fun time. Additionally, the hotel's Chinese restaurant was excellent; the prices were reasonable, and they even delivered food to our room, which was incredibly convenient. Personally, I found the hotel's service to be great and the room's cleanliness was also very good. I left a note asking for extra bottles of water, and they responded promptly. If I have the chance to visit again, I'll definitely stay here."

It's right next to Hanlefang and the Huangguan morning market, which is incredibly convenient for foodies. Facilities: The hotel is quite large, and most rooms are 40 square meters or more. However, the overall decor is a bit traditional and falls short of newer hotel designs. That said, the cleanliness is generally good. Breakfast: The buffet breakfast on the first floor offers a decent variety, but I have two complaints. First, the freshly ground coffee is really bad – extremely weak and flavorless. Second, the fruit bar lacks local specialties. It was early September, peak season for green figs, yet I didn't see a single fig over three days of breakfast. What about Weihai's local specialties? Also, the breakfast tablecloths are quite worn out; I suggest replacing them. Everything else was satisfactory, so overall, it was a good stay."

"Pros: Very close to Weihai Station and right next to Hanlefang, which is convenient for evening strolls and dining. Being on a high floor also made it easy to find. The room came with a bathtub, the bedding was very comfortable, and the hygiene was generally good. Cons: The room didn't have USB charging ports. Although a charging cable was provided, it only offered 5 minutes of free charging, after which a fee was required. The lounge area is behind the security gate, requiring a room card to access, so once you check out, you're immediately disconnected from the hotel. There's no restroom in the lobby, and luggage storage is through self-service lockers, with a fee starting after six hours. It feels a bit less personal compared to typical hotels."

"My stay at the Atour Hotel Weihai was truly excellent this time around. The location is a huge plus, right next to Happiness Gate, and you can step right out to the sea. It's so convenient for walks and enjoying the sea views, and the night scenery is beautiful too. The hotel overall is clean and tidy, and the room decor is cozy, giving you a sense of quiet comfort and being well looked after. The bedding is super comfortable, and I slept really soundly. The service also deserves a special mention; the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to details. Amenities were complete, hygiene was spot on, and breakfast was abundant – I usually skip breakfast, but I couldn't resist here! For my two-night, three-day stay, on the second day they even brought four bottles of water and two bottles of honey black tea. That's why I booked two nights in Yantai and five nights in Qingdao. Atour is definitely a brand you can trust."

"The hotel is quite close to Liugong Island, though you'll still need a taxi to get there. You can walk to Xingfumen (Happiness Gate) and enjoy a pleasant stroll along the seaside. The family room is spacious, with bunk beds and a slide, which the kids absolutely loved. The hotel also has a kids' play area and a children's stamp-collecting activity. My only minor complaint is that while the room's bar counter is quite large, there isn't a single stool or chair for it – the entire family room only has one lounge chair. The highlight, however, is the panoramic restaurant on the 20th floor. Aside from it being a bit warm (which seems to be a design flaw), both the ambiance and the food quality are excellent. "I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during my 3-day trip to Weihai. I initially thought it was a small, boutique guesthouse, but later found out it actually has 48 rooms. It's located in Weihai's Xiaoshidao Scenic Area, right next to Huoju Bajie, with a beach nearby. It's a quiet retreat despite being in a popular area. I usually have high standards for accommodation and rarely stay in guesthouses, but I was generally quite satisfied with this one. Let's talk about the pros: the facilities are complete, with free snacks and drinks, good Wi-Fi, and a TV that supports screen mirroring. The bedding is comfortable, and the toiletries are the popular Anaya brand, which has a very soothing scent. The shower pressure is excellent, and the guesthouse is very quiet at night. The environment is absolutely beautiful, and the service is also great. They actively greet guests and help with luggage, and even drive you to the parking lot after check-out. If you have any issues, you can contact the butler via WeChat, and they respond promptly and are very accommodating. Now for the cons: the guesthouse's location is a double-edged sword. Getting in and out by car can be quite congested. There are hardly any good restaurants near the surrounding attractions, so you'll need to drive a few kilometers for meals. Breakfast can get crowded and a bit chaotic. The hotel's entertainment facilities are quite limited, with only a small pool suitable for children and a coffee bar. Overall, I was still very satisfied and would recommend it."

"Overall, I'm very satisfied and it definitely deserves a good review. First, the location. It's right by the International Bathing Beach, just a few minutes' walk down to the sand. Our room was on a high floor, with a balcony directly facing the sea. The view was completely unobstructed; you could lie in bed and watch the ocean, enjoying both sunrise and sunset. This view alone was worth the price of the room. The room was cleaner than expected. The bedding was pristine and odorless, the floor was sparkling clean, and there were no water stains in the bathroom. You can rent a scooter downstairs and head to the nearby market to buy seafood and cook it yourself, which saved us a lot of money. The air conditioning cooled quickly, and the Wi-Fi signal was stable, perfect for watching TV or browsing on your phone. The host was very thoughtful, sending detailed check-in instructions and a local guide in advance. They recommended several restaurants popular with locals, and none of them disappointed. There's a supermarket and fruit store downstairs, making it convenient to buy things. It was very quiet at night, and the soundproofing was good, so we slept very well.
