"Not very clean, very small bathroom, literally behind the curtain corner is a shower, and right next to it is a toilet. The exhaust hood doesn't work, they forgot to give us towels, we had to run for them ourselves. Not very nice bed linen, and we covered ourselves with a sheet with a hole of about 1×2-3 cm. The fan works with a strange sound when turned, there is no refrigerator, the room is stuffy and the audibility is strong. It is quite suitable for an overnight stay, I would not stay for long"

"The hotel's location is actually quite good, but there's a section of cobblestone road leading to it, making it difficult to drag luggage. If you have luggage, you can also reach the hotel via a nearby park-like gravel path. If you arrive at night, taxis won't get you to the hotel entrance; there are two roadblocks, and you'll have to drag your suitcase in. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean, and reusable slippers are provided. The staff are all kind and friendly. It's quite convenient for taking photos at the cathedral and Petite France in the early morning and evening."

Le Grand’s location is fantastic, right opposite the train station and beside walking streets, everything was within walking distance. Take the local metro was also very convenient as it’s just at the main train station. The breakfast buffet was also good.

KKkaatteebbThis is a difficult hotel to review. The rooms we originally booked did not match the rooms that we were allocated. I understand that the hotel is an old building with a variety of styles of rooms, but the advertising is very misleading. With the help of the wonderful gentleman at the front desk, Noam(?), we shared our complaint and were given different rooms that were much better. Noam went above and beyond to make us feel accommodated and welcome throughout our stay. One thing to note is that the property doesn’t have USB charging points, so you will need an adapter. Finally, we did have a fire alarm that was very laissez faire (I ran down the WOODEN fire escape stairs in my socks to find the hotel staff (an older gentleman) not really doing a lot - and not really explaining what was going on) and the fire escape had A LOT of cleaning supplies and furniture that in a real situation would have cost lives - I do think this is something the property needs to rectify immediately.

GGuest UserIt’s a great place to stay, calm and quiet. A 500 mètre, a supermarch and a hall with a station. It’s a great place to stay in Strasbourg. The transport is rechargeable, 1 trajet is simple = 1, 90 €. Le Forfeit 3 days = 10,40 €.
Parties commune and chambre sont très bien entretenues. Petit déjeuner best bon, varié et adapté à tous les gouts.

This is a nice hotel, quiet, friendly staff The hotel is very nice and clean. 500m away is the Les Halles supermarket and the Ancienne Synagogue/Les Halles tram stop, which provides easy access to the Strasbourg train station. The transport card can be recharged, 1 trip = 1.90€. 3 days unlimited meals = 10.40€.
The public areas and rooms are well maintained. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety to suit all tastes.
I recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserThe aparthotel is situated very close to Strasbourg main train station. You can also easily walk to the old town district from the aparthotel in less than 10 minutes.
Nice things:
- Water dispenser in the lobby to fill up your water bottle.
- Heat radiator in toilet, keeps you warm when you step out of the shower.
Thing to call out:
- The curtains for the room dont fit the window, because our windows were slanted, the curtains couldn't fully black out the window. When inspecting the curtain lines and the curtain itself, you can tell 100% that the wrong curtain is used for the curtain lines because it wont fully use up the curtain lines when the curtains are drawn.
- The shower curtains are too long/loose for the showers in the bath room, when showering you can almost feel the shower curtains touching you all the time. I hope the shower curtains are actually clean; otherwise it'd be pretty disgusting to have them in contact with my skin.
- The air conditioning is not adjustable.
- Water kettle is oily, makes boiled water look disgusting. Likely due to misuse by a previous guest.
- Laundry is not free, requires 4/5 EUR per wash.
- Requesting for towels/exchanging towels also cost money.

DDadanThe room is large and clean. It is fully equipped, with kitchenware and a gas stove. It is on the 7th floor with a large terrace where you can dine outdoors and enjoy the view. It is located in the city center, with many attractions within a 15-minute walk and a large supermarket within a 5-minute walk. The landlord is very enthusiastic and picked us up on time. There is a garage. The only problem is that there are not many spare quilts.

GGuest Userno electric kettle or hair dryer. check in and front desk are only available from 5-8pm which may mean you have to schedule around it. luggage storage is not available after 8pm. no air conditioning in the room, and the outside noise is loud if you open the window (but the room provides a fan which i unfortunately did not see until the next morning). the location is a bit inconvenient, about 20mins from the city centre. at the very least, the service is warm and welcoming, but overall i would not book this place again.
