Great location near the train station. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was nice with a good variety. Staff were professional and welcoming. We were kindly upgraded to a Premium room, which was a lovely surprise.

Excellent hotel placed in a great location. Room was spacious and very clean with very nice decor. Loved the ambiance of the hotel and the layout helped the charm. Walk straight out into the action but yet very quiet at night inside. Totally recommend.

Overall, the hotel is definitely worth the price. However, there are a few things that other guests might want to know. First, only one elevator was working, so there was quite a long wait, especially during check-in and check-out hours. Perhaps this was just a temporary inconvenience during my stay, as I was only there for one night. Second, I was a bit surprised by the requirement to provide a credit card at check-in, even though all my details were already provided through the booking service. However, this was easily resolved by leaving a 115-euro cash deposit, which was returned upon check-out. On the positive side, the room was comfortable, and the climate control and beds were of a good standard. I would also like to highlight the excellent soundproofing, which ensured a good rest. For the price, it is a very decent option.

The hotel is hardly to reach by car because of the weird one way streets in the city. Finally we made by driving backwards;) It's even almost impossible to unload luggage in front of the hotel, the street is narrow and blocked by bus stops. There should be some advise in the booking confirmation. (We only wanted to stop for the luggage and had no intention to use the private parking of the hotel. The water basin of the pool definitely needs more attention in refǵards of cleaning...

What a fantastic hotel! I was genuinely surprised and delighted when I saw my room upon check-in. I had requested a quiet room and ended up with a corner room, which offered an amazing view from its corner windows. The warm sunlight streaming onto the corner sofa made for a super comfortable spot to relax and soak up the rays. The room design was very well thought out, and surprisingly, the bathroom featured a three-part separation (toilet, shower, and sink are separated). There was even a full cart for making hot water and coffee. It felt quite luxurious! The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, and the front desk staff were very welcoming and frequently checked in to see how my stay was going. It truly was a surprisingly delightful experience. The location is also excellent; just over 200 meters away, there's a tram stop, and a few stops will take you right to the city center. It's perfectly situated away from the hustle and bustle of the central area. Highly recommend!

This hotel is located inside a shopping mall with a supermarket and cafes...;thus, very convenient. There is a water system for guests to refill their bottles with cold filtered water which is a fantastic feature! There is an affordable bicycle rental nearby as well which is great for a short bike trip. The breakfast was good on the first day but the same exact items were served every single day. The chef can be slightly more creative and change an item or two. For example, instead of falafels everyday, maybe potatoes. There were lots of people working but still the peanut jars, honey jars and food plates were often empty with guests asking for refills. Except for the breakfast, everything was good at this Novotel. PS. Air-Con in rooms and hotel were excellent.

Excellent hotel with a fantastic atmosphere. The staff were very attentive, and the lobby is huge. They even helped me with my luggage all the way to the main entrance, which was a great help!

This is a difficult hotel to review. The rooms we originally booked did not match the rooms that we were allocated. I understand that the hotel is an old building with a variety of styles of rooms, but the advertising is very misleading. With the help of the wonderful gentleman at the front desk, Noam(?), we shared our complaint and were given different rooms that were much better. Noam went above and beyond to make us feel accommodated and welcome throughout our stay. One thing to note is that the property doesn’t have USB charging points, so you will need an adapter. Finally, we did have a fire alarm that was very laissez faire (I ran down the WOODEN fire escape stairs in my socks to find the hotel staff (an older gentleman) not really doing a lot - and not really explaining what was going on) and the fire escape had A LOT of cleaning supplies and furniture that in a real situation would have cost lives - I do think this is something the property needs to rectify immediately.

The location was very convenient, close to the station! It's an apartment-style hotel, so I thought it was convenient that it had a stove, washing machine, pots, etc. I was happy that the welcome fruit included clementines and chocolates. I thought breakfast was a little pricey at 20 euros. It would have been nice if there had been more food that gave a more Alsatian feel.

The hotel is very clean, beautifully decorated, and the rooms are spacious. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The location is perfect, right in the center of Strasbourg – 5/5. However, unfortunately, our room was street-facing, and it was a real sound nightmare: the tram passes right by and stops in front of our window. The noise is constant, as if we were next to an airport. For a 4-star hotel, this is unacceptable. The poor soundproofing makes the stay very difficult and prevents us from enjoying Strasbourg. Sleeping is impossible with all this noise, at least for me, which is a real shame. This 1* (which is already too much) is for the night noise; for everything else, I'd give it 5*. If you're a deep sleeper, this hotel is really good, but otherwise, I absolutely do not recommend it.
