"We absolutely loved staying at Liostasi and would come back in a heartbeat! The view and sunsets were unreal and the staff was so kind and helpful! We also did the cooking class with the owner and it was so fun! The food was so delicious! We also loved how easy it was to get to and from the ferry as well as walking into the village. We did go during the quiet season, so it was not a party town, which was really nice!"

"Opted for the Panoramic Suite and it was spectacular. The terrace was the best part of the stay. There was a refrigerator and wet bar along with a large lounge, large dining table along with two other chairs. Outside the living room was another 4 seat table for evening sundowners. Fabulous large pool with two in pool chairs. The breakfast in room service was excellent as well and very enjoyable out on the terrace. In room facilities were perfect as well. Best part of our three week trip. Now a part of Hyatt via the Mr. & Mrs. Smith boutique hotel chain. Highly recommended."

"Just back from 10 day stay in Petra . Superb holiday in excellent accomadation . Staff are all excellent . Studio individual apartment was very well laid out with lovely patio area overlooking harbour . Food was excellent . Atmosphere is very welcoming . Beach is on the doorstep and very safe for swimming . Local restaurants were excellent . There is bus connection to village and other beaches. Sunsets can be viewed from many locations . Walks to lighthouse and other tracks very amenable . Brilliant holiday and can’t wait to go back"

Armadoros Hotel / Ios Backpackers

"The location was good halfway between the port and village and budget friendly. The pool area was nice but the rooms were poor. Dust everywhere, cockroaches, insects and VERY VERY loud. From 1am through until 9am you can hear literally everything. We had hardly any sleep staying here. Cleaners will unlock your room and walk in early in the morning and are very loud too. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything. At least 50 cats that stay here and are all over the hotel. But staff were lovely."

Flisvos Hotel

"Well where to begin…. Arrived in the evening to flisvos as a group of four girls, we were a little apprehensive from reading some of the other reviews online and when we arrived and saw the outside of it but thought we would give it a go …. the owner was friendly and showed us to our room. Our shower was handheld, there were bugs in our beds and there was a mysterious blood stain on the mattress - we also were just given a sheet to sleep with and the mattress. I would NOT recommend staying here unless you want to catch something"

"It’s a beautiful small hotel where the hosts Lisa and Nikki look after you giving you a wonderful family feeling. The breakfasts are lovely, the rooms are spotless and the pool is lovely to lounge around during the day. It’s a 10 minute walk down to the port so for me it was a good location. Everyone staying at the hotel seemed to have been previously… It’s almost like a little secret that nobody wants to share as it’s so fabulous! ! Definitely planning an another visit !"

"Excellent structure located just 5 minutes walk from the beautiful beach of Mylopotas.We were very good and despite an initial misunderstanding with our booking the problem was solved with great gentleness and we went too better with the room that was really beautiful.Unpaid cleaning and beautiful swing pool with sea view.Thanks again to Antonio for the treatment he reserved for us."

Yialos Ios Hotel

"My wife and I stayed at Yialos Hotel in Ios for three nights, which was the second stop for our honeymoon. As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were warmly greeted by Dimitri, with a welcome drink, an early check in, and a room upgrade with a bigger balcony which was very kind. The room was spacious, with a kitchen and balcony, and the pool area is spectacular with different varieties of sun beds and seating areas. We had breakfast included during our stay and this was great. From eggs, bacon and sausages, to pastries and homemade cakes, we couldn’t have asked for more. There is a local bus stop just up the road from the hotel which can take you to Chora and beyond which costs €2.20 or you can walk up which takes around 10/15 minutes. In Chora we ate at Katogi, which is Greek fusion tapas and was one of the best meals we have ever had. We recommend booking a table prior to visiting as it is a popular spot. The hotel is close to the Port area, no further than a five minute walk and there are local cafes, restaurants and shops available. We would recommend Club Tropicana for food, with a varied menu and huge portions all for a reasonable price, just around the corner from the hotel. Every second at the hotel we felt welcomed and we were always greeted with a smile. If we ever visit Ios again we will certainly be staying at Yialos Hotel.
