"The room was a bit small, and the carpet was a bit old and stained. We had three people staying, but there were only enough towels, toiletries, and slippers for two. We called down, but they only sent up toothbrushes and slippers; no bath or regular towels. The sofa bed surprisingly didn't even have a pillow. On the bright side, breakfast was good, and the location was convenient for getting around, close to Xiamen Street with lots of great food options. It was also easy to get a taxi to Songhua Lake."

"Overall, it exceeded my expectations—a definite thumbs up. I came to Northeast China to escape the summer heat, and this was my first time staying at a Radisson RED hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. I usually stay at Marriott or IHG properties, so I'm not very familiar with this brand. At a price point just over 300 [presumably CNY], I didn't have high expectations. Perhaps it's also because the Hyatt Regency Changchun didn't leave a great impression on me, making me even more inclined to recommend this Radisson RED. Regarding the room type, while the room isn't huge, the overall layout is very well-designed. The luggage rack and bar counter are combined to form a clever entryway. The toilet and shower are separate, which is excellent, and the facilities are all new. Then there are the hardware details: the glass doors for the toilet and shower have soft-close dampers, and the thick seals give it a premium feel. The service was also very professional. On my first night, due to a personal situation, I had to request a sheet change from the 7th-floor housekeeping staff late at night. From the front desk to the housekeeping attendant, everyone was excellent, and the process was smooth. A big thank you to Kiki, Holly, and the 7th-floor housekeeping staff on duty that night. And then there's breakfast. I initially thought that at this price point, it would only offer basic options, but it was far from perfunctory. For example, by the coffee machine, there was an ice bucket and water, making it easy to make my own iced Americano. The coffee beans were also good. Many high-end hotels essentially serve hot Americanos with ice for their 'iced' versions. This place didn't cut corners, which was another pleasant surprise. What truly astonished me is that, so far, there have been no service shortcomings, which is incredibly rare. From Capella to various Marriott hotels and even the Hyatt Regency Changchun, I can usually find flaws in the service, but not here. Additionally, the hotel's laundry room and gym are both excellent, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. It perfectly meets my requirements, and I plan to stay for several more days. This hotel genuinely puts effort into what it does. As a regular user, I sincerely hope they continue to maintain this standard."

"This hotel is super close to Jilin Station, just a 10-minute walk. It's a state-owned hotel under Shen Tie, and the environment, rooms, and location are all excellent with great views. The transportation is incredibly convenient too. Highly recommend staying here!"

"Luckily, I only booked for one day; I was curious to check out this new hotel. First, let's talk about the hotel environment: it had a very strong, new-renovation odor. I woke up with a headache on the second day. Second, the hotel facilities were just average. They claimed to have a hot spring pool, but the water flow was poor. The first room I checked into even had a leak, and the hot spring water supply was limited. Third, the hotel service was decent, but when my room started leaking, they told me they had no similar room types available and asked me to pay extra to upgrade. I found this completely unacceptable and refused. Only then did they say they'd consult with their supervisor. Fourth, and most frustrating, was the hotel breakfast. My booking included two breakfasts, but I was told it would be delivered to the room. I reluctantly agreed. However, the breakfast delivered on the second day, as you can see from the pictures I posted, was entirely cold. They also knocked on my door at 7:30 AM on the second day without having scheduled a delivery time with me."

"The environment of Datang Hotel is OK, but the overall service is average, which lowers the standard of Jilin. The hot spring is just a scam, it is just a big bath, and there is no indoor hot spring at all. The place is large, but the layout is very messy, it is hard to find anywhere, and the elevator is not accessible on some floors. I don’t know why this design is? The breakfast buffet is not bad, there is no thunder. It is recommended to open earlier, because I came to Jilin to see the rime, and I have to get up early to see the rime, so it is a bit late to start at 7 o'clock."

It was a bit noisy though, with some construction nearby, and there were quite a few mosquitoes – got bitten several times throughout the night. However, everything else was great, and we could even go swimming at the Prince [Hotel/Club/etc. - assuming '王子' refers to a place or facility name], which was fantastic!"

"This time I traveled to Jilin with my six-month-old baby, so I booked a family room. By pushing two beds together, I got a king-size bed! The courtyard is incredibly beautiful and well-designed, with flowers, trees, and a small pond, all filled with leisurely activities. If you're interested, you can even pick wild vegetables. The room was fully equipped, including a bathtub for my baby. The hostess provided plenty of disposable bathtub covers, which was incredibly thoughtful. The most memorable thing was the exceptional service. We arrived late, and the hostess was worried we wouldn't find food, so she prepared four dishes and a soup. The portions were generous. The sweet and sour pork was authentic, the stewed small fish was fragrant, and the soup was made with local wild vegetables, a truly unique dish. Concerned that our baby wouldn't be inconvenient with us, they left breakfast every morning and brought it to our room upon our arrival. They even cooked plenty of eggs for our baby's solid food. I was prepared to make do with my baby, but the hostess and hostess treated me like home. I was so touched! You can also grill your own food. The host brought us a brand new stove, and the skewers were all pre-skewered. The food was amazing! The location of the B&B is also good, very close to Songhua Lake. I will stay here again next time I come to Jilin. Thanks to the owner and the owner's wife. Such a good B&B must be prosperous!!!"

"Choosing this place right when the ski season kicked off was absolutely fantastic value for money! Coming from the South, I'm particularly sensitive to dry northern weather. Before checking in, I specifically asked about humidifiers. The front desk assured me they had been installed last year, and even better, a humidifier was already turned on in my room upon arrival! Such a thoughtful touch. The room also featured a full-length mirror, perfect for a mirror selfie after getting all geared up for the slopes. The projector was excellent, offering HD picture quality paired with superb sound. Whether it was animated films or blockbusters, it delivered an immersive visual and auditory feast. Truly an unforgettable stay! As for the shuttle service between the hotel and the ski resort, it was incredibly smooth – no excessive waiting, always available on demand."
