Silver Springs Hotel Uganda

"This was the final hotel of our Uganda tour. It is a large hotel with facilities for larger groups and social events such as weddings and birthday celbrations. There is a main building with rooms on several floors and a greater number of chalets with two levels and four rooms each. The rooms are quite large and have comfortable beds. The mosquito nets are a joke as they do go around the beds but are not fixed to the wall behind the bed so mosquitos can fly in through a large gap and enjoy themselves at night. Hot water and pressure is good and available. A no go is the electric of the room as to be seen on the photos. Only one socket in the room (the one for the kettle) was usable for recharging. All other plugs were filled with a plastic material and no plug could be inserted. The hotel has beautiful grounds and two pools with ample space for sitting outside. We only had breakfast and this is served as a buffet with a very large choice of different foods and beverages in decent quality. It is a pity that coffee was not available as a brewed coffee but only as Nescafé."

"One of the cleanest hotels I've come across. Not a single complaint. Kind and helpful staff. The food is excellent, the Chef Daniel caters for your choice of food. The owner Mr Lee is very friendly and makes the guests feel valued. Spacious room with all amenities. Hats off to such a beautifully well maintained hotel in the busy city of Uganda. It's a definitely go to and come back hotel."

"I stayed at this hotel between Aug 18th and the 25th. Not only Kampala is an amazing city, but when combined with Hillside Palaza it becomes MAGIC. The rooms were extremely clean and spotless. The bed is so comfortable and generously pillowed up. The rooms are so spacious, that for a moment, you think of organizing a soccer game :) Kidding. But, definitely, you have enough room to workout! The staff are, professional, helpful and extremely friendly. They make you feel that you will be, genuinely, missed! Close to malls, and restaurants, including their own restaurant with delicious local foods at request. All in all, I strongly, recommend this hotel"
