"We arrived in the morning while the check-in was at 4:pm, we asked if we could leave our stuff somewhere and go ski the day and it was no problem at all. When we checked-in, we were welcomed very friendly by a lovely receptionist. They even got us a FREE upgrade for our room, because the room’s weren’t fully booked. We had a half pension, so breakfast and dinner included. These were actually amazing. The breakfast a buffet with all kinds of bread, different types of egg, sausage, bacon, yogurt, fruit and much more! For the dinner there was a standard menu with each day a different country, it was really original and absolutely amazing, the chef knows what’s he’s doing! The room was really nice and clean! The view from the balcony was amazing, cause I could see the whole Kitzsteinhorn! The bed, cover and pillows were amazingly soft. The bathroom was also good and clean. For the ski equipment, there is a storage room with heaters for your shoes. There is also a lift in the hotel, what is a great plus. Overall a great experience, definitely recommend it!"

Vaya Kaprun

"Lovely apartment stay at Vaya Kaprun. Clean and beautifully presented, plenty of storage in the studio II which had bunks for our kids and an austrian double. For a studio there was plenty of space :) The sauna was great, and whilst I appreciate we are in austria, its quite shocking for kids both younger and older to experience - just a forewarning to other families! This is normal for austria but sometimes I think in a family holiday setting it's not necessarily the best idea. But we understood before we went in. No noise in the apartments - we were next to the lift and couldn't hear it at all. The ski store was in the garage which was spacious and always had space even at new year. Location was great - it was the far end of Kaprun but the bus stop was right outside. The little pack for dishwasher etc could do with a cloth. These are just picky little things - overall we loved it. We will always go back to Vaya resorts as we know they are top notch, clean and really well kitted out."

Pension Patricia - Summercard Included May 15 Until End of October

"We had an amazing stay at Pension Patricia and would absolutely highly recommend it.In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we have already booked again for next year! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. On our first day, the owner personally came down to introduce himself, welcomed us, and told us we could ask him anytime if we needed help or had questions. That personal touch made us feel very comfortable right away. The location is excellent for skiing. The bus stop for the slopes is only about a 1-minute walk away, where you can take the D bus which takes around 9 minutes to reach the slopes. Alternatively, you can walk about 3 minutes to the main road and take the 660 bus. The training slope for ski school was also just a 2-minute walk away, which was incredibly convenient. The pension also has a sauna that you can book for private use, which was a really nice way to relax after skiing. Breakfast each morning was very good and a great start to the day. Our room was clean, spacious with a comfortable bed and pillows, a nice bathroom, and a balcony with a beautiful mountain view. On our last day we saw the owner again and had another nice chat before leaving. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and are already looking forward to coming back next year."

"Very nice family run hotel and a nice place to stay. We stayed in a beautiful newly decorated room with a balcony and en-suite bathroom. It was very comfortable and clean. Excellent breakfast in the morning served by the very kind and understanding Petra (family member). It isn't a clasic hotel with a bar lunge etc, but you can dine in the restaurant in the evening and otherwise there are many bars and eating places nearby. It is a quiet location,but in the centre of Kaprun and very close to the ski-lifts and the apres-ski bar :). Well recommended. Danke sehr, Petra Very nice family run hotel and a nice place to stay. The Kaprun Edition - Luxury Chalets & Style Suites

"The exact name of the premise is "Luxury Chalets & Style Suites" and we booked one night in their Suite. The whole property and a room was definitely far from being titled "Style" or "Luxury". most annoying was the smell in the room when entering, and few cleaning deficiencies, like cobweb in the bathroom, uncleaned bedding sheets, etc. Rather arogant receptionist gave us a spray to apply to fix the smell, cool! BTW, the suite house was literary embedded into a tiny space between other neighbouring buildings therefore whatever room side you had, you always faced the view to a couple meters distant wall."

Avenida Mountain Resort by Alpin Rentals - Incl Summercard

"Fine cottage. Nice location with a ski bus right in front of the house. Furthermore, it stated that you didn't need to bring towels, but we were a group of 12 and each had one towel for 5 nights. When we asked if we could have an extra towel, the response was that we had to pay 10 euros per towel. The sauna was sometimes closed at times when it was supposed to be open. And the swimming pool was really extremely cold. Additionally, you do have to bring your own garbage bags, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, and toilet paper. We only found that out once we were there."
