"The service at the front desk was a bit lacking. They seemed to pick and choose who they'd help with luggage. I was struggling with my child and really needed help, but they didn't offer any."

"Room is decent but doesn’t meet five start resort hotel standards. A few of the item is outdated. Bedsheet has a few old stains and bed has a bit of dull smell. Recommend to stay for 1 night just to enjoy the surroundings area. At night the temperature is super cold. Breakfast is good."

Collection O near Museum Pusaka Karo formerly 3 Berastagi ★★

📍 Jl. Jamin Ginting No.134, Sempajaya, Kabupaten Karo, Berastagi

"The suite room looked pretty good, but unfortunately, the floor was covered in dust and the tap water was clogged. The accommodation seems poorly maintained. The staff were friendly and efficient, although not as professional as you'd find in a star-rated hotel. If you're not used to vehicle noise, think twice before staying here, as the guesthouse is right next to the main road."

RedDoorz @ Hotel Dieng Berastagi

"The room is clean, but the service and facilities are lacking. Towels are not asked for, not given, soap and toothbrush are not there. There is no Aqua or a place to boil hot water. The toilet can not be pressed, broken, the bathroom door handle is loose, winning in the room is spacious, clean and the place is close to the city. We chose a family room on the 3rd floor, it feels like bringing children to the 3rd floor is a bit dangerous because climbing the stairs is afraid the children will fall. I will not come here again"

Mikie Holiday Resort & Hotel ★★★★

"Repeat stays at mikie (＞4x) for proximity to funland. Stayed in family room (2 level). Check in was fast, amenities are old but sufficient. Towel is old and not quite absorbent. Knocked room at late night when all of us were asleep to request back swim towels which we had returned to unmanned towel counter. Swimming was fun but water is cold. Breakfast variety is amazing and commendable but not all was nice. Arcade is not new but affordable and fuss free. Water kettle wasnt working well but was quickly replaced upon request. Will stay again and will recommend."

"Malaysian here! We were greeted by warm welcome from Pak Jani and his wife. He will assist you with almost anything you asked him. Very helpful especially if its your first time in Medan/ Berastagi. The villa itself is uniquely designed and located at a private location, it has Europe vibes in it. So i assure you will get your beauty sleep peacefully. My wife is very happy during our stay here Top notch service and highly recommended. Do yourself a favor and give it a go!"
