Sotetsu Fresa Inn Chiba Kashiwa
9.0 (284 reviews)

Sotetsu Fresa Inn Chiba Kashiwa ★★★

📍 2 Chome-5-18, Kashiwa

"The hotel has a great location, near the Kashi shopping street, McDonald's, Don Quijote, Biccamera, drugstores, etc. It's a 5-minute walk from Kashi Station. Check-out time is 11:00 AM, and breakfast is served until 10:00 AM. The selection is limited but convenient. The amenities are complete, and they even provide face masks. It's worth recommending."

Mitsui Garden Hotel Kashiwa-No-Ha / Chiba ★★★★

📍 178-4 Kashiwa-No-Ha Campus 148gaiku 2, Kashiwa

"The hotel is relatively close to the subway station, which is convenient for getting around, but it's too far from central Tokyo, which is quite inconvenient, and you even have to exit the station for transfers. Because of its proximity to the station, I was worried about getting a good night's sleep, so I emailed the hotel before checking in to request a room on the university side. However, upon arrival, the front desk still assigned me a room on the station side. The train noise was very loud, so I went to the front desk to ask for a room change. One of the female front desk staff actually didn't know there was a university nearby; it was infuriating! I had to open my email to show them before they finally changed my room. The hot springs on the third floor of the hotel weren't crowded, but it was a bit inconvenient to have to bring towels from the room."

📍 6-5-2 Kashiwanoha, Kashiwa

"Our first hotel in Japan. The room was clean and tidy, and a good size. The wooden design made the room feel very cozy. We stayed in Kashiwa because it was the night of the Adachi Fireworks Festival."

📍 2-10-7 Kitakashiwa, Kashiwa

"The reservation slip didn't include the room number or door code. It would be helpful if they included a note asking guests to call upon arrival. Otherwise, it included parking, plates, chopsticks, and a frying pan. Amenities were good, and the price was very reasonable considering coupons. The owner's service was good. Regarding the location, there was construction nearby, requiring a detour, so I deducted one point. There were games like Othello, which the children absolutely loved."

📍 Wakashiba 264-1, Kashiwa

"This hotel was quite spacious for a Japanese hotel! Amenities had to be picked up on the first floor, and the large public bath was also on the first floor! There was even free ice cream inside the public bath. There was also a Korean staff member! The hotel is close to the station and Lalaport. Parking was 1200 yen for guests."

📍 5-chōme-4-4, Kashiwa

"We stayed in a room with four beds and a kitchen. It was only a short distance from the main road, but it was very quiet, the room was spacious, and the children were able to play in the bunk beds. The ventilation in the smoking area near the entrance was weak, and there was a slight smell of cigarettes in the entrance hall, which was a little disappointing, but other than that, it was clean and our family was able to relax. Thank you very much. We would like to use it again next time."

"Location is convenient adjacent to Lalaport and Muji. Room is clean and spacious, with a small balcony. Breakfast buffet is excellent and food is yummy with plenty of choices, decent environment to enjoy a relaxing breakfast. The onsen water is hot enough."

"I think this is the best hotel in the Kashiwa area. As it is part of the Imperial Hotel group, the intangible aspects of the hotel were excellent. But why are Japanese hotels so small?"

"Overall, I think it was good. The pajamas, being a top and bottom set, were nice, but the long sleeves made them a bit warm (I stayed on a day with a minimum temperature of 27℃)."

"The breakfast is very good, there is a large bathhouse to go to the soup, and there is also a microwave oven and an ice maker to use by yourself. The hot water is also very stable. The quality of the counter service is very good, and the daily spare parts are replaced and cleaned in place."
