Reflections Lake Keepit - Holiday Park

"We have stayed many times and we’re coming back from a trip West so decided to stay on a powered site for one night. We just made it to the park by 5pm and the lady had put all our necessary information in an envelope in a checking safe. We found our site just near the lake edge and set up just as it began to rain. In the morning it was clear so I went for a dawn walk to take photos of the sunrise. It was wonderful and I noticed how clean and well looked after everything was. They were also building four more cabins overlooking the lake up on the hill. We had a cook up breakfast in the wonderful camp kitchen. One of the staff members was cleaning the facilities and put on the television for us and was very helpful and friendly. So nice to see Simone taking so much pride in making the park look great. It is a wonderful place to stay, fish, waterski or just take a walk. Throughly recommend visiting Reflections Lake Keepit if you get a chance."

"The overall stay was okay but the economy room was so small including the bathroom. There were a couple of connecting doors to the room which was a bit odd. It had a small fridge with oven on top of the fridge and kettle/iron on top of the oven. It had no closet. Seems like a store room was converted into a bathroom. The faucet was way beyond the size of the wash basin. For anyone booking this room, please note that the continental breakfast included was just a small packet of cereals and milk that might not be enough for two."

Mackellar Motel

"This is a well-presented property with spacious rooms, good lighting, effective air-conditioning, comfortable beds and under-cover parking - as you would expect for a country motel charging around $200 or more a night. However, that figure does includes a continental breakfast to the room. However, guests are not given a choice of items for the room service breakfast eg type of cereal, fruit juice variety and bread type etc . This might sound "picky" but when a motel is in that price range one might expect to be able to peruse a continental breakfast room service menu. This "one size fits all" might suit a certain clientele, but it is a bit outdated in an era when many people have dietary preferences. The staff did provide me with some alternatives when I requested some breakfast preferences but one should not have to ask for that at a property of this standard and price range. Having said that I would stay at this property again."

"Great Motel, very happy with our room and stay. If you can’t look past a chip tile or small imperfections then probably not the place for you. But was great value for our money considering the alternatives, with friendly and helpful staff. If you’ve got kids there a great spot for throwing or kicking a ball out the back."
