"It's a bit simple indeed"

"Can you honestly rent out a pigsty like this? The accommodation was neglected, there were insects in the kitchen, and black mold in the bathroom and on the shower curtain. And when I asked for a heater or at least an extra blanket because it was horribly cold and damp in the room at the beginning of winter, I was told to just close the window? What a horror, avoid at all costs!"

"I had a very good time at the hotel. The room, amenities, customer service and the location were all excellent. There was free breakfast which was a great advantage. I would definitely like to stay there again."

"The room is big and comfy. 10 mins walk to nearby metro station. 15mins bus ride to Macquarie center for supermarkets, foodcourt and an ice rink. Around 30 mins bus ride to city center."

"The accommodation was clean and comfortable. However, there were only two chairs for our family of four, so we mostly stayed on the beds."

"The hotel is fine for business, close to the metro station. They don't clean rooms on holidays, and we didn't expect that for the price."

"The room was clean and tidy. There's a small cafeteria on the ground floor with good food. It's right next to Macquarie University and there's a beautiful lake district nearby."

"Very disappointed with the service at Oaks Sydney North Ryde. My partner attended a funeral and asked staff in the morning if he could rebook the room when he returned. He was told yes, but about 30 minutes after standard checkout, staff called us abruptly and rudely. My partner rebooked shortly after the funeral ended as planned, and my daughter and I went out shopping for the day, but the staff member’s disrespectful attitude during a sensitive time was unacceptable. On top of the terrible service, our suite had two TVs but only one remote control provided. I would not recommend staying here."

"We stayed one night but were satisfied with the room - clean and comfortable. The hair dryer was good!"
