"I stayed at this hotel in late July 2025, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. I had specifically booked a non-smoking room, but the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. When I mentioned this to the staff, they sprayed some kind of disinfectant or deodorizing solution all over the walls. However, when I returned after going out, the smell was still there, completely unchanged. It was so bad that I woke up in the middle of the night and even had a sore throat because of it. On top of that, the handle of the bathroom sink faucet kept falling off, so I had to reattach it every time I used the sink. I reported both issues again before heading out the next day. They said they would disinfect the room again. The faucet was fixed, but the cigarette smell remained just as strong. As a non-smoker, staying in that room was truly uncomfortable. To be honest, the smell was so intense that I simply couldn't adjust to it. Aside from spraying some solution, no other action was taken, and it was clearly ineffective. I strongly suggest that the hotel properly check for smoke odors in rooms before assigning them to guests who specifically book non-smoking rooms. Even though the price was relatively low, it still felt like a waste of money. The location is convenient and close to popular tourist attractions, but I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you are non-smoker."

"The room was spotlessly clean, and the facilities felt quite new. Luggage storage was available. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and professional. The hotel is conveniently located next to a commercial area, very close to both Odori and Sapporo Stations. There's also a convenience store conveniently located on the ground floor. On a snowy day, the view from the window was absolutely beautiful. This was our first hotel in Hokkaido, and we had a very comfortable night's sleep."

"I had a pleasant stay at FAV LUX Sapporo. The hotel’s location is super convenient, and the free parking was a big plus. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient—no hassle at all. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a long day. The sauna and bath area were a great touch and added to the overall experience. That said, the sauna room felt a bit too hot, and the water drain seemed to be clogged, which was a minor inconvenience. Still, these didn’t take away from the overall positive impression. Would definitely consider staying here again!"

"The bed for our is perfect from family with little kids, the upper bunk is little low so may not suit adult, when you sleep in the upper bunk you can hear people walking upstairs as you are so close to the roof. There is no coin operated laundry, and the closed laundromat is 10mins walk away, but the staff is very nice and can communicate in English ,"

"The staff here are English-speaking and exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I purchased a refill for my Traveler’s Notebook, a special collaboration with the hotel featuring the hotel name in gold on the cover. When the staff asked if I was a TN user, I showed her my train version TN, and she showed me hers too! It was a very lovely interaction. They also asked if I wanted to stamp my notebook, providing three different variations. It was a wonderful touch! There are only five paid parking slots available, costing ¥1,600 per night. The parking spot is reserved for you, so you’re free to come and go as you please. They even put up a sign indicating your room number. I’d definitely stay here again if I return to Sapporo!"

"Located next to Tanukikoji in Sapporo. Convenient transportation. High cost performance. Friendly service staff. There is a washing machine in the room. Laundry detergent and other toiletries can be picked up at the front desk on the first floor. The only drawback is that they do not provide skin care products."

When I first checked in, I found that the toilet (urine stains) and kitchen (oil scale) cleaning need to be strengthened, and there is a lot of dust in the room.
